I wonder is the OP is asking about rules established by TV, ie: Restrictive Covenants............which are different through out TV. For example, size, quantity, etc.

Sorry Don, did not see your post.

I think you are correct. On the plus side, lots of good information was provided. My dad was a engineer. He couldn't give a yes or no answer. He explained everything from...in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. I miss him.

I think the OP was asking for just what they got -- a pleasant and friendly exchange of dog info and ideas.
And also a warm welcome to TV!
As far as restrictive covenants, I believe most Villages allow two dogs with no size restrictions.
And of course no fences, unless they are invisible.

Your dad must have known our younger son, who starts every story with getting up in the morning and tying his shoes!

They need to establish a Village for "Dog Lovers Only." I would most certainly purchase a house there. [emoji190]

I would also, but I'm thinking it might be easier if the village is for non pet owners.

The problem would be that all the dog haters would want to live in the "Dog Lovers' Village" because all the nicest people would live there!

Please don't group all pet owners together. Most are responsible.
A few bad apples give the rest of us a bad name.
I agree that negligent and disrespectful pet owners need a kick in the butt.

BF............I was surprised in my sister's Village (South of 466a) she has a dog size restriction. She has two large dogs (moved in with them) and can keep them. BUT, as they die.............she can not replace them with the same because of their size.

I have heard of only one dog being allowed in some of the older Villages.
Warren Kiefer said he has that restriction in his Village.
But this is the first time I've heard of a size restriction. Wow.
Is the restriction on size identified by a weight restriction, e.g., dogs over 40 lbs not allowed - that type of restriction?

Seems like it was LBS. I will ask sis to dig out her info. Might cost me a couple doggie treats.
