Many catalogs carry a sprinkler that is motion activated. It stands on a little "tower". It works on people as well as on deer, which is how I know the product.

I know from reading on here there are dog parks in The Villages. How many are there? How far apart are they from each other? Do they have member fees or are they free to people who live in The Villages?

Default Poopers

Can't resist re-telling my true and favorite story of a "poopertrator" in our old neighborhood in VA. Despite the leash law, neighbors would let their LARGE dog loose at night, and the dog invariably left a huge pile of poop on our home's front steps, of all the places... After making sure of the culpret, my revenge was sweet, although decidedly stinky. Our large dog, was confined to a run when not in the house (she was our house pet). The week long collection of our doggie's deposits, were stored in an air tight, lined recepticle. Under over of darkness one steaming summer night, I lugged about 15 pounds worth of heaving, bagged, poop. You can guess where I deposited it........... Voila. No more night deposits from that particular neighbor's dog..

Loved your story Shrandell!! Amazing how quickly people learn when they have to pick up someone else's doggie doo-doo!!

My wife and I always comment of the homes that their backyards face the road and happen to have the sidewalk on their side of the street. It must be a never ending battle picking up the little suprizes scattered on their lawns.

Chances are that the offender will be back again and again. so a little patience and some Charlie Chan investigation will reveal to number one son and the rest of The villages " the poopetrator. Citizens arrests are optional

Default Charlie Chan & The Sprinklers

What a creative bunch of Villagers we are Can't wait for "the Rest Of The Story" (God love Paul Harvey). Between a vivid mental image of the trespassing female receiving a stinking shower via the sprinkler system,: and Charlie Chan's inscrutable smile as he sureys the illicit poop swirling through the DNA diagnostic machine.... a040:the post scripts will be very satisfying....

If you see the poopertrator you should follow them home and post their address and what they have done on TOTV.

Tommy T,

This is what you need:

Link does not appear to be staying on the post. Just Google "Scarecrow motion activated sprinkler" and watch the YouTube link.

Tommy T,

This is what you need:

Scarecrow Motion Activated Sprinkler - YouTube

Better than wasting time hovering around the sprinkler switch.
The link is there as you can see in the quote of your first post shown above. The issue is that some of us (and maybe you) cannot see youtube links in posts on TOTV in IE and cannot figure out why. There is a thread about this: https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...osts-ie-47064/
