EXACTLY. Operation Warp Speed gave us two excellent vaccines but the rollout this year has been a disaster for lack of leadership and Covid infected illegal immigrants being seeded across the country.

"This is a guy who ran for office saying he’s going to shut down the virus," DeSantis added. "And what has he done? He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide open southern border."

Appears Sumter county cases are low, but there are repercussions. Had to go to the ER and arrived at 6:15PM. 30+ people in the waiting room. We were told that ER beds and hospital beds were all full. Took me 7 hours to be examined, x rayed and blood tested.

On the bright side, it probably could have been worse if this had not happened in August.

Was told that Leesburg hospital was also full.

One doesn’t get the possible long term complications from the flu as they do with COVid - weakened heart and/or lung function, a host of other unbearable issues. You really want to take that kind of chance with your body?

Are the hospitals getting paid thousands of dollars by the federal government for flu cases or just Covid cases? Asking for a friend who says “follow the money”

Just curious - Anyone know if the influx at the southern boarder has impacted number in FL - in the US?

Default Wow

Best thing to do is lock yourself in a closet with a mask and face shield. You do that while I go out and play golf and enjoy my life. You can be hurt everyday just walking out the door. More room outside for me.

More than 80% of surgeries are OP, so no beds required. Facilities are scheduling elective surgeries everyday.Still playing catch-up from 2020. Plus all of the off-site surgeries are up and running. Trauma and emergency surgeries are still happening 24/7.
The only downside for the surgeons if the patient is in FEAR of boarding surgeries. Reading and actually working in a surgical facility is very different of everyday life

I doubt those 615,000 people that died care about your statistics.

So far on the 4 travel sites that I belong to no facility is offering $5000 per week. But some are offering a one time bonus. But I am just skimming the hundreds of real opportunities weekly from some of the top agencies.

When you were offered $5000 a week did you have to travel to the Carolina’s, or did you get that money in Florida?

Rather crude and insensitive statements do not belong here.
