HB, Im not upset with you at all, Im po'd at these young kids who think we seniors all have alzheimers. I guess I felt that way once about "older people" too.

It makes me laugh at myself when I forget obvious things. I feel like a cartoon character of an old person. I can laugh cuz I'm still young, I just have this really old wrinkled up body!

We went to dinner tonight with pm10...Marcia and Paul. What nice people they are. We will see them again. Nice to have someone close by who has the same goal of getting to TV.

Had a terrific afternoon. Played Mahjongg with Sam, Beady and my neighbor Elaine.

Met my new neighbors today. They're finally here and really nice! Actually the really good thing I did for me was to get up at 5AM and just sit quietly on the lanai, watching the sunrise and my cats playing around me.

Had some wonderful "Birthday Cake" Ice Cream. My new fav flavor from Publix. Was it good for my body? No! Was it good for my soul? You betcha! :bigthumbsup:

HB, the flavor is called "Birthday Cake" and it tastes just like the icing on a birthday cake! Yum! Some will find it too sweet, but I love it! :#1:

Went to a retirement party and had a great meal complete with homemade cake. Then went out with friends for a drink. Life is good!

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful sunset cruise on Lake Erie. The weather was great and the sky was full of pinks and purple.

did a good thing for ME and the steak was a perfect Medium Rare. :bigthumbsup: We also reminisced the birth of our baby boy 24 years ago today!! (fathers day 1984) He was 6 lbs.1 oz. (tiny) now he is 6'1" and a wonderful loving son!!! We are blessed!

After dinner, we went for an evening swim at the pool. We were the only ones there and it was so relaxing. I'm about ready to lay down and go to sleep now but know I won't. This is the life!
