I guess the only good news in all of this is that maybe you'll have a chance to get in some downtime and catch up on your rest. You have had some extremely long days. Per our contract they can work us up to 16 hours a day. Thankfully this management team hasn’t done that yet. It would be NOTHING but cruel and unusual punishment in this heat.

Being consistently woken up in the middle of the night and doing this grueling work really takes a toll. My husband has been retired for 15 years and he still has trouble sleeping through the night. He wakes up having heart palpitations. NOTHING but total admiration for you.
