The NOTHING post/view count currently stands at 2,267/37,312. We really haven't needed a goal. Things seem to be adding up nicely on their own.. Although getting to the 2,953/72,291 of the Original NOTHING might take awhile.. lol

Good to have you back, Big Al. When you left, we looked and looked for you, but found NOTHING. We called your name, again NOTHING. Then we thought, could he really be gone for good? Well, perhaps gone, but never forgotten.

Today we can celebrate that NOTHINGVILLE is complete again with all charter members in place. To add to that good news, we also have some wonderful new members who have joined our community while you were away.

Looked at so many houses today my head is spinning like Winchel & Mahoney. Nothing but overpriced smoke filled carpet stained overpriced losers today. Nothing like flushing the toilet before you have an open house. We had one surprise, a house with a pool. Nice place but overpriced, people are fishing for a sucker. I think I'm going to build on the Hysterical side and call it a day. It is very nice over here except for the power problem after Irma. To tired to think anymore tonight. Welcome back Allegiance. Oh, yea I know that next house is just waiting for us to be Nuckafied. I would love a beautiful house where a pipe erupted and needs massive work and sells for a song. Not much of a chance though as there is a network of buyers and realtors already set up to vacuum these homes up before we even know they are available. I don't blame them one bit. Just have to find out who to take care of to get Nothing more than The Sale O The Century!

The good thing, Nucky, is you're already there enjoying the lifestyle that is TV. Essentially a house is just a place to rest your head. But like you, I love thinking about/looking for a new home. Dreaming about it is one thing though, actually walking through the process is a bipolar experience to say the least - excited, frustrated, happy, sad, etc, etc.....oh my.

As Ken said, time is on your side. Don't settle. Wait it out until you find exactly what you want or "wear down to", because that's often times what happens. Unless you can build it yourself with no restrictions, finding the perfect house is almost impossible. Just when you think you've got it, there's always that one last thing - price a little higher than you wanted, orientation of the house not quite right, etc. That's what I mean about "wearing down" - it's a process and you usually end up giving in to one or two initial desires.

In the meantime, thinking of you and praying you find it. I have a feeling in a few years, we'll be doing the same. We plan to come down and settle in our patio villa first, then give ourselves time to scope the place out and see what our interests will be, what our retired life will really be like, before buying our next home. So keep us posted, Nucky. Your experience will be valuable to those of us who will be walking in your shoes in a few years.
