You're just like me. When you tell a story that pulls at your heartstrings, you forget your NOTHING.

Having said that, sometimes it takes a man or group of men to get the job done. But I can't help but notice the genius of the person who thought to initiate this - a woman, of course. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Now you've got me thinking about getting my license, if for NOTHING else than to have that kind of fun! Of course it would probably be revoked immediately afterward but it just might be worth it.

K man, I have gotten NOTHING but The Flu, The AMMONIA, and now The SHINGLES shots all in a two week period. Not good. But at least I tried in case I'm around someone who is sick.

You're correct about the confrontation for Our Veteran friend and the Kids that bothered Helene should have been dunked in the toilet I believe that each instance would be a fine time to be from The Northeast so they could feel some of the love they expel come back at them. Do I ever wish I was there. Please let me hear something like this happen so I could be of some help. I hate bullies, I just don't need to continually advertise that I do.

We just got home from Leesburg Hospital, our buddy from yesterday fell and did some damage, we are going back to check on him shortly. Still, thru the pain and Parkinson's and all the other B.S. his heart of Gold shows thru! Thank God we were lucky enough to make friends with this man. I consider him a second Father except he doesn't have to feed or clothe me. He was worried about that part. He just wants me for another tax deduction. You don't have to be blood to be family.

W is another swing and a miss. Strike two. I'll try tomorrow. It's just the circumstances.

Cannot nap when doing platelets as I have to squeeze the thing that pushes the blood to the machine. Not for NOTHING.

I did see three episodes of The Good Cop with Josh Groban and Tony Danza on Netflix while doing platelets. Worth a look.

Way to show up the K-man with 3 shots in 2 weeks. Hope he didn't cry today......

Sorry to hear about your friend. Been thinking about him off and on all day today, along with a friend of mine who needs prayer this week. You and him sound like quite a match for each other. He is blessed to have you around to help keep his spirits lifted, although he sounds like someone who doesn't let circumstances get him down too easily. My husband says that blood means NOTHING when it comes to real family. It sounds like you get what he means by that.

Thanks for taking the time to keep us posted.

Josh Groban, really? Does he do NOTHING but sing in the show? Seriously, I did not know he was into acting now. I am so out of the loop with television shows, movies, etc. My tv watching time has been very limited for years, not necessarily by choice, but I really don't miss it either.

I've often heard that God laughs at plans and I know that is NOTHING but true. His way of telling us only his matter. So sad what your poor friend is going through and I am all too familiar with it. My mom fell a few times also. She even had hip surgery where they put some pins in and kept on going. She was tough as nails.

Hang in there, I am sure this all means more to him at this point than anyone can know. You are a good man and I am proud to have you as a friend.
