I can't thank Dr. Proud enough of LSL Urgent Care (she's no longer there) for recommending him to me based on the treatment and care he gave her mother.

My internist is located south of Leesburg near Hawthorne of Leesburg and The Plantation of Leesburg. It's a drive but well worth it.

Thank you and all of you for the recommendations.

I will look into them and go from there. I just have some reservations with only going to a 'village doctor'..even with them only seeing 1250 patients a day..I still couldn't get in to see one of the doctors recently until end of December!! so this may be the 'start of something big'..as the song goes.

I'm still researching but am tentatively hooked up with my Preferred Care status with one of the villages doctors. I just feel I want to be sure I feel comfortable. Once you sign up with this healthcare..thats it until next enrollment time.

I go to Premier Medical Associates they are off El Camino Reel on Santa Barbara. The doctors are Great. Office staff and medical assistants are friendly and professional.. They have there own pharmacy, urgent care, lots of tests can be performed right at the office.

We LOVED this dr. He spent a lot of time with us and we never felt rushed.
Very knowledgeable and has a nice personality too, which you can't say about a lot of doctors. Online his bio says he was previously employed at Harvard Medical School and Mass Gen Hospital. This year he opened his own practice here.
I highly recommend this doctor to anyone.
I just went to him and thought he was very good.

but a good doc is a good doc.
Have you decided yet..very important....its important for me to see a 'doctor'..not the NP. The Villages has hired lots of NP's..so maybe the writing is on the wall. Be careful..be wise and think of what works best for you.

Premier Medical Associates also has an office in Sumter on Old Mill Road. They are in that bunch of offices in the complex across from Too Jays. I see Dr. florian Gegaj and are very pleased with him. He takes his time with me, doesn't push medication....would rather you live a healthy lifestyle. He has a great bedside manner and is very kind. We really like him.

My wife and I have been going to him for 3 yrs. he is a very good dr. But his staff is just horrible. she had a problem with a medication that he prescribed, she called to talk to Dr Agbo about it. 3 weeks and 5 calls later she still has not gotten a call back from him! she spoke to the secretary, the office manager and the nurse an they all said they gave him the message, but still no call. We cannot believe he or they could be so uncaring! We would never recommend him again!

I loved her, too! I just did an internet search and this is what I found:
Office Locations for Dr. Christina V. Proud | Family Medicine in Sarasota, FL

It appears she has relocated to Sarasota...sigh.

Tragically Dr Todorovic was killed in an auto accident this past Monday evening. His obituary is in today's Village Daily Sun.
