I like that car. I had a chance to by a MG TD when I was 18 , but my parents wouldn't hear of it.

In our case, there was no manager to be found although we tried. Perhaps he/she was hiding or sweeping peanut shells.

Actually, on our previous visit 2 weeks earlier Bonny was at the bar and if she had been there on this visit I would have talked to her about the situation.

See you at TGIFriday's.

Went to Codys tonight. Of course most know it's one of my favorite places. If you haven't gotten the rotisserie chicken, it really is a must. I had 1/2 a chicken, sweet potato with that awesome cinnamon butter, salad & rolls for only $8.98 before 6:00. I have lunch for tomorrow.

Bonny...

I'm with you and so is my husband, sister and BIL. We LOVE Cody's. Their BBQ baby back ribs are fall off the bone delicious. WOW... they rival the best I've ever had. Cody's coconut shrimp with the dipping sauce for the shrimp is soooo delicious. Agree about the cinnamon butter...it is so good, especially on their baked sweet potato.

Don't want to forget to mention...Cody's Margaritas are the best in TV (even better than mine!!!). They are great deal during Happy Hour.

We'll be back!!!

Default Cody's

Our last visit to Cody's was a complete disappointment. We were given undercooked buffalo wings & told by Dean (one of the managers) that is the way they serve them. Our 10 year old daughter ordered cheeseburger & fries from the kids menu, prepared well done. She received the full size portion & when she started eating it, it was prepared quite rare. She became upset as she orders all red meat well done. This time, Dean (Manager?!?!?) informed my daughter that many adults eat raw burger meat & there's nothing wrong with eating it that way. She looked at him like he had 3 heads! I was furious wuth his matter of fact attitude & his total disregard for his customers requests. I will never step foot inside of that restaurant again... there are so many fab restaurant in & around this area, but Cody's isn't one of them!

Each time we have been the service was great and the food was excellent. I think the best course of action is to complain to the manager's boss about this and help get rid of him. A crappy manager can ruin any business.

Raw hamburger can be very dangerous, btw. The reason is that if there are any bacteria on the surface of a piece of meat it gets ground into and incorporated into the rest of the hamburger. A rare steak doesn't have this problem. The surface bacteria gets killed during cooking.

Call his boss. It would serve him right if that is indeed his attitude.

Default Cody's is going downhill

We have been regular patrons of Cody's, but our last visit was a major disappointment. The food was cold, salad dressing was not the same quality as before. Additionally, the second glass of wine we ordered was not what we ordered. The waiter, Chris, swore it was and that he saw the bartender open the bottle. He offered to bring us a taster from the bottle to compare; never came back with it. Next he argued with us about the wine, until we summoned the manager who credited us with the purchase.

We also talked with some friends who had a similar experience of arguing with Chris who claimed their salmon was cooked the same why it always was cooked at Cody's - it was raw! Both of us are finding somewhere else to spend out money to eat. The quality of Cody's has slipped!

My husband and I went to Cody's for the first time tonight--I had a birthday this month---registered online for their "club" so had $10.00 off two entrees. I had Beef Chunks---husband had ground round smothered with onions. We sat outdoors--beautiful breeze--wonderful scenery---had wine at 2 for 1----No complaints. Table next to us complained about the "beef chunks"---I saw manager come to table and took the price of this entree off their bill. I was a little concerned since I ordered same but I had no complaints whatsoever about the Beef Chunks. Tender, delicious and even brought some home--just too much for me to eat after their salad. I would recommend this restaurant===

Went to Cody's just once with friends. We thought the food was mediocre at best - the ribs were tough and stringy and the fries were cold - and frankly I don't find the peanut shell covered floor charming, I think it's disgusting.

I was a big fan of Cody's but had less than enjoyable meals the last few times. BBQ ribs came out dry and had to ask for BBQ sauce. Not very tasty even. Tonight my sweet potato was undercooked and my pie was wet like a frozen one is when it thaws. Then there are the flies. They are becoming more and more numerous and annoying. The yeast rolls used to come out dripping but are now very dry. Cody's was my main restuarant but no more and hopefully someone there is reading this because more and more people are complaining about it in our community pool. Tonight a friend asked me if I had a problem with flies and I told him I got bit by one and he said he is never going back there. A story I am hearing more and more. They may survive another year due to the snowbirds coming back and not sampling the current Cody's but I think by next summer they will be in trouble if things do not change. Then again what do I know.

We also had a problem with flies. We sat in a booth inside opposite the bar. The problem is that open window behind the bar which allows flies to come in. Not a very smart decision by Cody's. Because of this we will not be going back to Cody's.

Has anything changed at Cody's? We have not been there for about 2 months, but we have had good food in the past on several visits during April of this year before we got moved in.
