Default Evans prairie a winner !!!

The EVANS PRAIRIE County Club is a "Don't Miss" in the Villages-
Besides the Fantastic Food, Resonable drinks & spectacular view, the entire staff from the Owner on down has a "What Can I Do For You" attitude-
From a Warm hello to a Thank You for coming my friends & I Love the Dining experience. We look forward to returning again & again-
Also, don't miss getting on their E mail list- Updates on many specials plus an entertainment schedule

I agree with all that has been said. Must add that Chris the bartender is always a great guy.

haha! I thought they would make it to being great...I was there once during a power outage and the manager came out and talked to customers and coddled us with free drinks through it. Later I heard the menu was being upgraded...I had a feeling with a caring thoughtful manager, it might get to be a place where customer service and great food were available. the best thing is I live around the corner. BTW there is also a great view of the water and prairie.

What great reviews. So TOTV posters can give credit where credit is due. I wonder if the owners/manager of another (unamed) CC that has been trashed by posters over an extended period will read this and wake up. Sure hope so. It is near my home and I would love to begin patronizing them again.

I will take this thread as an opportunity to go back and try them again.

Shortly after their opening they certainly did not perform as stated here.....quite the opposite.

So we will try again....as I have said many, many times it is too easy to have a well run, successful eating establishment!!!!!

I grew up in the restaurant biz. It is not even in the same solar system as easy .... it is a LOT of constant, consistent hard work on pretty much a 12 hours a day, 365 days a year basis.

I had crab appetizer, luscious, meaty and not too salty, oh boy...and salmon entrée. loving the way these guys do asparagus.
talked to a couple of mgrs., Greg and Benny..
I sat near the kitch door. everybody's hustling, the mgrs. are on the floor, in the kitchen, talking to customers. I asked about vegetarian dishes and they sent over the Culinary Director, Jason Sofka.
who offered his card saying that he can alter the menu to individual tastes on request.
Really? I have to go back and try that, and I will. Jason is cute (how inappropriate!), available and eager to satisfy the customer.

What impresses me most is that the staff seem to all be enthusiastic, engaged in their mission, striving to please and willing to make changes to satisfy.
I'll ask them for a salty salmon dish, where they currently offer two sweet ones.

Give them feedback at Home.
The GM, Fred, watches and responds.

Sounds like EP is a winner, winner, chicken dinner type of place. I need to try it!!

The salmon dinner with asparagus sounds delicious.
