Yeah Tim told us last week the location fell through. He drew a circle and said he will find a spot within 2 miles of the SS location.....

Still amazedby how many people call him "Pauly" LOL

Hedoman. I respect your opinion..I will use that coupon and try the pizza again. Which one is YOUR favorite?? I may have been ordering the wrong pizza. I generally like not a thick crust and the pepperoni sliced thin, thin, thin, and covering the entire surface of the cheese and baked until the pepperoni is crispy..

OH...I am so missing Donatos Pizza.

But I am open to suggestions..Hedoman.

WE would have loved the Sante Fe Location. Easy access to north and south of 466.....no 5 -7 pm congestion.

Is This strip owned by The Villages??

I thought there were two Pauly's......one in Spanish Springs and the other
located at Buffalo Ridge. Now I've only had Pauly's once while visiting
my sister because we really love Giovonni's pizza.

Property owners do have the right to lease or not lease to whomever they please without asking anyone else's permission or opinion. The Villages (or someone other than Pauly's owner) apparently owns the property there.

I was not happy when Starbucks was brought in at the Bichara Bakery location....loved Bichara. I am not nor have I ever been nor will I ever be a Starbucks fan, but I did not own the property and was not even privvy to the reasons (as it should be) for the change. I just took my business elsewhere.

I, too, enjoyed Pauly's in SS but not in Palm Ridge or Mulberry. I am only one of many who live here, love it, and try my best to accept change. I often don't do that too well, so I spend an awful lot of time reminding me to do it.

It wouldn't make sense to evict someone or not renew their lease if they were keeping up with the terms of the agreement.

If the property owner rented it for 4K a month and the renters kept the terms of the agreement, why would they care if renters were selling Pizza or Hot Dogs or Sushi or Shoes? If the property rents for 4K..or whatever the amount, the goal is making money which the property owner is expected to do.

It would make more sense to guess that the rent wasn't paid or some other breach of contract.

Why in the world would there be a problem with a "small guy" if he was paying the same as a chain? I don't understand what you are trying to say when you say " Just like the villages to push the small guy right out of there way". WHY would the developer do that?????

Methinks that the $95,000 figure might be a bit inflated to attract investors...
memason: If the survey included those 40 plus homes located behind the Polo field where the Developer, his family and friends all live then thr $95,000 figure may be correct. However if it did not include those homes then we are probably down to $35,000 to $50,000 give or take

robertj1954: Again I say he may have built it but he used residents' money and he continues to do so. You may want to review how all this gets financed. I am a free enterprise guy. GEEZ

Generally you use the profits to continue building and continue making a profit. And you get to keep most of the profit. That is called good business procedure. Losing money is apparently how the national...never mind.

My opinion is that..........This place is the best value for the money of any retirement community in the world.
