It’s one of our favorite places. Sorry you had a bad experience. Maybe give them another try.

Poor baby's. Homeless people are hungry and if they are lucky they may have a cold bite to eat.

With the help shortages etc, we gave them a another 15 minutes or so to make an appearance. After at least 45 minutes, and I am being kind, and watching people come and go, we flagged down a different waitress, as ours was still missing in action. She happily agreed to check for us, and about ten minutes later, our waitress showed up with our cold food that had been sitting at least a half an hour. We were so hungry at that point that we ate the cold fish and chips, meatloaf etc UGH! We voiced our dissatisfaction and of course she apologized. The proper response from management to our terrible service and cold soggy food would be to at least comp our meals, but that was never offered. We have seen this all over The Villages. A restaurant gets popular and busy, and customer service goes down the drain. They allow poor service and dissatisfied customers, because there are ten people waiting in line to get in. Beware....January is coming along with thousands of renters and much worse customer service from Millers Ale House. So sad.
Sorry to hear that. I went there the other day it was a complete opposite. My food came so fast I could enjoy the fantastic Holiday Martini
Go again sometimes things just happen
Try their Holiday Martini very yummy

Sorry but you ate the meal, you pay for the meal. You should have said something once the cold food was brought out.

Really……so he should be grateful, that he gets to go PAY FULL PRICE for cold food…..really because there are homeless people, maybe you should give up your home so you can be part of the solution

The last time we were at Miller's, they had half the dine-in area closed off due to lack of kitchen and wait staff. It was actually a smart move. Even though we had to wait a few extra minutes to get seated, once we were in, service was prompt and the food was great. Don't shut them out over one bad experience.

Been eating at Miller's all over Florida for years. Have never gotten bad service or food.

Have a hard time understanding why you ate food you did like without complaining and giving then a chance to correct any problems.

We've been to Miller's dozens of times and have never had a bad experience. Although you state what you think a proper management response would have been, you never mention that you actually spoke with a manager. I would have done so after the first 15 minute wait, not 45.

Anybody can have problems, or just a bad day. We consumers do have some responsibility to act. IMO, sitting there brooding for 45 minutes was part of the problem.

Eating out used to be pleasurable, but as many of us have seen, it very rarely is.
