Default TLC House Washing - Bad day

Made arrangements about 1 month ago for TLC House Washing to power wash our house and they told me they would be out first thing about 7:30 in the morning. I said OK. Well today they showed up on the day scheduled, but at 6:45 am. I went out to greet Jeff just saying they were there fairly early. SO far no problem. Then I see him in the back and I said I wanted to take out the screens..he said they are normaly out before we come. I said they would have been if you came at 7:30 rather than 6:45. It was like a BIG issue with him that I wanted the screens out!!

So I started taking the screens out and next thing I know he comes by and said he could not finish the job for he was here already 20 minutes and had nothing done. I could not believe it..NOW it is only 7:10am and he is already collecting his stuff to put back on the truck and they were out of here by 7:15.

We have used this company in the past and been pleased with their service, but today He certainly had a BAD day. Talk about NOT being customer friendly..and he leaves me without a washed house and half of my screens are now on the ground.

Bottom Line: There are just too many power wash companies I can call rather than get a lecture at 6:45 in the morning

I don't get. You have used this company in the past and were satisfied. You admit they had one bad day. So, you post the one bad day experience on TOTV. Did you post the good days too?

Default Call the owner/manager

By stating that she used this company before implies that she was satisfied or else she wouldn't have hired them again. I would certainly call the manager or the owner of the company and let them know what happened. If it's a reputable company, they will make it right.

We had an issue about 3 months ago with a company, a very well known company. We had used them before so we knew that they did good work. However, on this particular job they did for us it was very unsatisfactory. It looked worse after they completed the job than it did before they started. So we called the company and asked a supervisor to come and look at the job preformed. He did and agreed that the work was unacceptable. The next day the crew was back and redid the work. The job turned out great and we were happy. I've just called them back for another job we would like to have done. Reputable companies always stand by their work.

Believe me I tried to be balanced in the post, that is why I mentioned the fact that I used this company a year ago and everything was fine. A year ago I recommended this company to neighbors and others....thats why I called them back.

Im not sure what you dont get......when a company shows up at your house 6:45 in the morning, a verbal arguement ensues when he decides to collect his hoses and NOT do our house and my screens are all on the ground. Things change, people change over time...he had a bad day!! All I am doing is posting what happened to me today (and my experience in the past) with this company.

I don't blame you for being upset and it sounds like they started off the day on the wrong foot. Like you said, there are many companies out there to choose from without all of the trouble.

Caroline, I thought you were balanced in your post.

In the past, Egners (352-728-8537) have done a good job for us.

..TLC HOUSE WASHING is awesome, we have used them for BOTH our houses here many times. I would rather have them show up early rather than late or not at all like many of the Contractors with the "FLORIDA lifestyle" work-ethic. My husband and I both work and we have our places ready for their arrival days before....price is also awesome AND our windows sparkling....LOVE 'EM and Congrats to Jeff and Lisa on their wedding!
