Default Tornado Hit's My Home Town

This is a vary rare event for a beach community.

My sister works at the high school and all of the windows of her car were blown out.

The guy in the blue sunglasses was one of my best friend's brother.

Thank God that no one was killed or seriously injured.

Watching story unfold on nightly news here in Maine it was an Ef2 tornado lucky no deaths
associated with the storm
There are reports of another tornado just west of Sebago Lake area at 4pm
News crews are on their way to survey the damage

Very unusual weather for the northeast. Hope everyone's ok in Revere. I'm from Somerville.

Somerville was experiencing heavy flooding and some storm damage. The entire eastern section of Mass is under a tornado watch.

Didn't realize you were from Revere! Saw pictures of the damage. What a mess for sure. So glad no one was injured. Property can be replaced, people can't.

Glad everybody is safe. We are in Nahant for the summer and I didn't even think to bring my tornado alert radio from TV. We had a lot of rain but not much wind from the storm.
Next year I'll throw the radio in when I pack. My cell phone indicated a tornado warning but I didn't see it.

Funny, I talked to my brother in Saugus about an hour after it hit and he wasn't even aware of it. "Just a little bit of wind. No big deal."He was in Saugus about five miles from where it touched down and got almost nothing.

I said, "No, a tornado hit Revere". I asked if he had heard from my sister and he said that she was at work at Revere High School.

When I finally talked to her, I found out that the whole side of the building outside her office had been torn off. She's fine and as far as I know there were not serious injuries.
