Default Washing Car Windows- Only in The Villages

Went to Sam's Club for Gas earlier today. As the tank was filling I reached for the window wash long handled tool to wash my front windshield. The tool wasn't there which prompted me to ask the attendant why the tools were no longer there. His answer was that they no longer put them out due to the high rate of disappearance. WOW! Only in The Villages!

Don't think Sam's Club is in the Villages proper, must be local thieves. Besides, Walmart should suck it up and replace them for the customers benefit. Kinda of a lame excuse if you ask me.

Sometimes the store manager makes that decision. Each store is different. Condiments with sandwiches is another walmart hit or miss.

Answer. SAMs clubs is NOT in the villages!

So your slamming of the villages in lame IMO!

Beside even if they had the washer equipment the water would be dirty any way

Angry No Surprise

This is the worst Sams Club I've ever been to AND YES I STILL PATRONIZE IT. The mgr of this store has a lot to be desired. No shock at the answer you received. Does it take 3 people at the service counter to issue a new ID while other customers are waiting? Automotive techs weren't allowed to release vehicles to customers because the computer was down & they couldn't document their work in the system to issue bill. The vehicles maintenance was complete. Answer they gave patrons was "We're trying to get IT to fix it." Broken glass wet spill in grocery isle for 45 minutes. Team member stayed with it then walked away when she couldn't get any response to her radio request for clean up. No signage was placed by spill. 50 or more gallons of milk tipped over inside cooler without anyone cleaning up. Outside security lights in parking lot not working during highest crime time of year, "The Thanksgiving/Christmas Holidays in 2014". 2015 was repaired. No grocery carts available for shoppers at 2 p.m. Carts were in lot but none inside. I'm sure I've forgotten something.

I've never been to Costco but sure wish the hell they had one near us.

Sam's ought to put the window washers on a chain like the banks do with the pens.

Figure this one out, happened again today, gave up on trying to make sense of it. Has happened before and the state could care less.

Bought batteries at $16.98, batteries at $17.74, Turbo Tax at $69.86.

Got instant savings of $5.00 on the batteries, and $15.00 on the Turbo Tax.

Total came to $84.58

Tax @ 7.0% was $6.98

Total to Credit Card $91.86

Whether you use the original prices ($104.58 = tax $7.32) or the total after the $20 instant savings ($84.58 = tax $5.92) the tax never comes out to $6.98.

Anyone able to figure it out?

Some people seem to spend an awful lot of time at Sam's Club.

Not me. I use Turbo Tax too. But if I was good at numbers or taxes I wouldn't need Turbo Tax.

I like Sam's Club. Great hotdog and pop for a buck fifty.

I can just see you dragging that with a chain across your hood to wash your windows. Dumb idea. IMO

Here is what I would do rather than let my blood pressure go up over something so trivial.

I would squirt and use my wipers to clear it if it were bad and drive the car to the car wash. OR take it home and clean the windows.

I think that the sales tax in Lake County is 6 percent but it still doesn't work.

A guy working at the Home Depot on 441 told me that this store is their number one store for theft. He said it was 70% seniors.
