We bought the home because we had a a longer lot on which we could extend the lanai, the lanai faced east, and it was on a cul de sac.

bought ours because it was a corner lot, near my parents home...however, the sign we got when we made our decision was the flag pole erected on the property (sign from my Dad who recently passed away) and the bottle of St Brendans liquor in the refrigerator (the favorite libation of a family member) haha...and no regrets since!

Large back yard with no houses behind ours, the model we wanted and actually, it was the only house we looked at. Only things it didn't have from our wish list was a golf cart garage....however it does have a larger garage than was standard for that model at the time.

We came down to "just look" and bought the 3rd house we saw! Large back yard, no neighbors in the back, hardwood floors, enclosed Lanai and a pool & hot tub w/ a birdcage. It's perfect and we close Thursday!

Visiting old friends. Bought same model as they had. Never even looked at the model homes.

I just loved the kitchen. I didn't see enough kitchen space in the CYV until I saw this one. I was hooked. Had to have a fence (I know, I've said it before). If there was a larger home with a fence we would have bought that one for sure but fencing is a top priority for us. So be it. Everyone has priorities and we're happy.

Same with us. Plus the house had the split floor plan, the wall behind which we wanted, stainless appliances and not too far from Sumter Landing. Do wish we had a golf cart garage.

Default We built it and we love it.

To the OP.....your house has a wonderfully warm look to it. It is just lovely. We built our house and we love it! Golf course, no rear neighbors and a large pool.

We were powerless to resist buying a home. It was probably the chip they implanted in my neck when we visited the Sales Office. We bought our first home in TV because it backed on a golf course. Three years later we sold and bought something larger in the same Village, backing on the same golf course.
