Phillip has been the love child of the Vote for the Worst site for a number of weeks. That site's writer can be incredibly mean spirited but he/she is very witty. Vote for the Worst

Would hate to see Phillip Phillips go too. He does not look like someone a lot of teen girls would vote for over and over again.

His Mother never told him "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." In Ohio we'd call him a negative jerk.

I am one of the great minority who doesn't like Skyler because of her "in your face" style of singing and jerky movements, but she won't go.
Agree 100%.

If you mixed David Ruffing, Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding into one incredible soul singer you would get Joshua Ledet.

American Idol (season 11) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wonder who will go tonight? Could we get a really big surprise and see the exit of Phillip Phillips??

Or, will it be Joshua, Hollie, and Skylar in the bottom three with Hollie leaving based upon the way this season's elimination chart has been going?

I think we could be in for a surprise with either Jessica or Phillp exiting. I also believe the judges are pretty transparent in who they want to win- Joshua.

This is getting very hard to guess who will go. I cannot stand Skylar's style and her screaming nasal voice so I hope she goes, but Phillip gave the poorest performance last night. I never thought he'd go, but if Colton can be voted off Phillip certainly can. Having his girlfriend there may have cooked his goose with all of the jealous teenyboppers!

The young girls sure do seem to have a lot of influence on who wins AI. I still cannot really understand the last couple of winners without the teenyboopers playing a huge role in voting for good looking but really not extremely talented young men. These same young girls then buy the albums of the AI winners... which keeps the AI marketing juggernaut going.

- I think the judges are practically salivating for diversity in this year's winner. Remember the Korean guy? They were trying last year, as well.
- As much as I love Phillip's style, it appeared to me that he really didn't care about the 2nd song. He may be off tonight...
- I didn't think Skylar's 2nd song was all that great either, contrary to what the judges said. Hmmm, what else is new?
- Can't stand JLo. She almost ruins the show for me.

Jessica Sanchez's second song was really good. I thought Hollie Cavanaugh had a solid outing with both songs sung nicely.

Like the judges, though, I think that Joshua Ledet is head and shoulders over the other performers in sheer vocal talent combined with a showman's stage presence. He's come a long way.

I think Joshua is incredible...I agree about Skyler, I don't know why they keep saying she is so good...Jessica is fantastic but so young, I think she has a good future in music. Phil sounds the same in every song, they compare him to Dave Matthews and I don't like Dave either. I can't see Holly winning altho she's extremely talented. I record all of the shows so I don't have to watch all of the stuff going on between songs...then on Thursdays I just skip ahead to the end to see who's off.

OK Trish gonna have to take you on... IMHO

Joshua is incredible, but only about half of the time. Same goes for Jess.

The reason the judges say Skylar is so good is very simply, she is... Us southerners have to stick together you know.

Have been a big Philip fan but I agree he does sound the same most of the time. I don't know about the Dave Mathews thing either

I agree that Holly has talent but she ain't gonna win.
OK, my picks for the bottom:

Hollie
Skylar
Jessica

Hollie to go home

The guys have the girly vote.

Now we tape the show also but can't miss all that drama.

Besides Carrie U is singing tonight. You can't miss that can you?

Do also really like Carrie Underwood. Of the various AI winners, she seems to have the brightest career.

Now that Skylar has finally exited (phew...took long enough), it is very hard because any of these final four could muster up enough votes to win. Hollie is definitely the underdog but the other three is like picking the Kentucky Derby winner.....how many times does the 4-1 favorite lose??

Still think it will be Jessica Sanchez if she can get over the female teenybopper voting hump. If not, it will probably be Joshua.
