What's your place to unwind ?
Where I live now I have a special place to be alone and get my thoughts together. It's about 5 miles from where I live and it's on the north shore of Long Island and there's a mile and 1/2 boardwalk. It's very beautiful and quiet during certain time of the day. It just so relaxing when I need to unwind and get away from it all. I will have to find a place like that when I get down there in a few weeks. I'm not that familiar with The Villages yet but I'm sure there are some great spots where there is some quiet.
So what's your special place in The Villages to have serenity and alone time ? |

The Polo Grounds!! The back side away from the traffic noise on BV Blvd. A nice bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers and sitting in the shade under a tree with my Kindle

As you travel south on the cart path on Morse approaching the bridge going into Lake Sumter Landing there is a spot to pull off and face West overlooking the lake. Right at sunset it can be a very tranquil spot even though there is automobile traffic nearby.
You won't be alone because it is a very popular spot, but the sunsets can be beautiful. |

In my Tampa house on my lanai by the pool.
We have a lot of deer that come through and watching the babies romp is heaven. In our Gilchrist house, on the lanai looking at the lake. Our Son came on Friday and he said it was sooooooo relaxing and he feels like The Villages is a giant resort! He loved T.V.
