Facial recognition.....lol. You have got to be kidding me....lol. . Now thats funny, for a small dog bit. Would that be for the irresponsible owner who left the scene? Yes, the owner is irresponsible and did a reprehensible thing.

Why not Facial recognition for the dog? Heck lets get the FBI, CIA, DEA, ATF, Secret Service, local PD, State PD involved in this.

No! I got it.......call in McGruff the crime fighting dog.

besides the facts that: 1. Man's dog bites stranger
2. Man leaves scene without providing any contact information for bitten man to ascertain if dog has had rabies vaccine
3. Bitten man would like to find owner of biting dog to ascertain status of vaccinations and possibly insurance information

What more of the story do you need? The pictures were taken by witnesses.
What more do you need before you determine this isn't BS?

You are exactly right. The OP isn't giving the whole story. Big difference between being "Attacked" and being "bitten". That in no way excuses the irresponsible behavior of the dog owner to leave without helping.

As a betting man, solely based on the location of the bit, He was bitten when he tried to break up a dog fight without knowing the proper way. Yes, there is a proper way to break up a dog fight. If he stuck his hand in-between two fighting dogs he lucky he walked away with one bit. All of you who think you have a precious little dog who would never bit anyone, just stick your hand between fluffy and another dog fighting. Fluffy will bit you in a second.

Dogs don't like every dog they come in contact with. They don't have to and it's ok! Just like us. We don't like everyone we come into contact with.

Yes, and I’m willing to bet that he did too.

For those of you who insist we "need to hear both sides of the story", that would be nice. However, since the biter's owner left the scene, why are we giving him the benefit of the doubt?
The circumstances of the bite are immaterial. What is material here is that the owner of the biting dog took his dog, and LEFT THE SCENE without providing contact information or vaccination information. That is all that really matters here.
If anything, it leads me to believe that the owner of the biting dog doesn't want "both sides of the story" to be told. I he did, he wouldn't have fled.

Or was he defending his little fur baby and put his hand between two dogs and got bit.

I call BS on this whole story.

They left becuase the OP got between two mongrels.

His fault.

We need HALAL now!

What do you mean by "we need halal now"? Just curious, not surprised.

"lol" means "laughing out loud"

You're laughing about an injury. Karma soon.

If it was you would you call it a small bite? The guy should be caught and punished and see nothing wrong with identifying the guy via facial recognition.

How great would it be if someone developed a dog fecal recognition gun. See some dog dodo, point your handy fecal recognition gun at it, and the lazy owners name comes up and can be published here with a picture of the dodo. Sales of a fecal recognition gun would be crazy in TV.

Based on the info you gave it should be easy to track down this scumbag down. Post this wherever you can. Make copies of these photos and post everywhere. Including around all the dog parks. He may stop going to Mulberry dog park for a while and go else where. GOOD LUCK!!!

The owner and equally nasty friend tried to drive off without giving me any information about the dog or himself. However they were photo captured by witnesses. The cart is a Grayish Yellow (NYS4) Yamaha with the names Janice and Jack on the front.

If anyone can please provide me with any additional information on these two men it would be appreciated. I am told that if I need medical attention I will need to file a police report and they will want the owners information.

You can Private Message me through the TOV site.

Thank you.
I would press charges. There is NO excuse that. I am sure someone will see the cart and photos and identity him. Keep the post going!
