Here’s a question for ya.
Why would anyone think it would be a good idea to go to a dog park and let their dog run around with a bunch of other dogs that they know nothing about? I got $50 that says there are signs posted at these parks warning to use at your own risk. |

Looks like the authorities have a deleted some posts in this thread. I was trying to respond to the post by the newbie and the post disappeared. I wish I would have copied it.

I find it hard to believe that there are posts that are defending a person who refused to provide any information after his dog inflicted a bite on a stranger and then fled the scene when confronted.
767.04 Dog owner’s liability for damages to persons bitten.—The owner of any dog that bites any person while such person is on or in a public place, or lawfully on or in a private place, including the property of the owner of the dog, is liable for damages suffered by persons bitten, regardless of the former viciousness of the dog or the owners’ knowledge of such viciousness. My question to those who sympathies lie with "grandpa", would you also have left the park without providing any information in a similar incident? If so what would be your rationalization for it? Are you required by law to reveal personal information? |

So Grandpa is guilty, no need to hear his side of the story of what happened. Some of you here are satisfied that the OP is the good guy he would never lie about what happened and grandpa is the bad guy. You know this with 100% certainty without witnessing the incident? Maybe grandpa offered to give the OP his info but the OP became threatening and angry and grandpa got scared and just left. I don’t know this because Just like everyone else here I wasn’t there!

That's illegal. Everything else is your imagination running wild. Why would you even suggest that? If, somehow, the story you made up were accurate, then it would still be the owner of the biting's dog responsibility to notify the police. Doesn't seem like that happened, does it? He could notify the police and say "I left because I felt threatened." Evidently that did not happen. Otherwise OP wouldn't be asking for help finding the guy. |

He was the victim. You can see the blood running down his hand.

all BS aside....I hope you are able to identify him ...and are able to hold him accountable, but if your injury is minor, I wouldn't spend a lot of $$$$ trying to track the SOB down
