Not about the amount of parking spaces available. Parking said carts there is a competiton for the Villages' own golf cart sales. Private sales cut into their business plan.

Yes. That is the reason that The Villages is not a gated community. Anyone has the right to enter through any gate and drive through The Villages

The prohibition applies only to district-owned property; not public streets at the Town Squares, and not your driveway.

Just a "tad?" Sky's not falling? The thread has already jumped to violations of one's first amendment rights. (By the way, Bare, do you have those in Canada, or just when you are here in TV? Inquiring minds want to know.) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Some might say, thank goodness for public streets that aren’t totally controlled by The Villages. I purchased my used cart from a listing on the internet and still believe it is the most effective way to sell items. As The Villages increase in population, firmer enforcement of all existing rules may be the new trend.

And therein lies my problem with this. I like things totally controlled by "The Villages". I could sense from Mr.Plane's first posts that he wants to change things to how things are run say in Urbana and Chicago, Illinois. NO thank you. I like how things are here, now. I like how things are run south of 466. When things are turned over to the people who run for office, then things won't be as nice.

I can’t control how any thread evolves. As long as issues are debated, I am pleased! I am personally surprised to see how many changes have taken place here in my short association with this nice place in Florida. And Urbana (Maybe) Chicago (No Thank You) ![]() |

I read such a notice on the online news last week. Something about illegal parkers would be towed. I have pretty much decided if you run, I will run against you. I think I have the hang of it. Wear a Nehru Jacket and have blondish hair. Then the major news sources will malign you, and you win.
