Wouldn't be thrilled, but I'll get in that line if needed. Don't forget, none of the vaccine studies suggested that you would gain lifelong immunity from this shot. In fact, a lot of the manufacturers were looking at 6-8 months. So not only does that suggest that "boosters" would be needed, but also that the first of the vaccinated may be losing their immunity at this point and therefore contributing to the "breakthrough" rate.

Absolutely!! If it turns out they are the probable cause, yes. At least some type of ownership....possibly not allowed into social situations, ie: movies, restaurants, sporting events. I also think that should they get sick and end up hospitalized - it should be on their dime.

There’s a difference between science which searches for the truth and scientists who have a multitude of competing objectives. If you equate Fauci with “the truth” then you are naive.

Fascinating, maybe one or two posts here were on topic, the arrival of more information today.

The rest were mostly the typical rants and ravings. Most of which make claims denying science or government. If you read through the posts you will see in the vast majority of the cases the posts vitriol is based on a hatred of the government, ie. political. Most say things like Fauci is a liar, but these same people were praising Fauci when he was the previous presidents spokes person. The Fauci committed political suicide by disagreeing with the president, and since then he has been a pariah. We see this over and over where politicians are heralded until they disagree with the previous president, then suddenly they become lying scum.

Of course we can’t discuss politics here so what happens is the personal attacks and name calling, and they simply leave off the political crap. At some point we need to say out loud, the king has no clothes.

The fact is republicans make up about 30% of the population, and about 30% of the republicans believe all this outrageous nonsense being spewed here and all over the internet. So, the good news is, it is actually a very small percentage of American that are falling for all the BS. The bad news is they are a very vocal small percentage.

I do wish that TOTV would follow other medias choice to ban/block posts that are simply reposts of proven lies, and not just political post.

While a booster is probably coming, I had a _robust_ reaction to the second shot. I'm not really willing to go through that again to prevent the sniffles.

The Vaccination is clearly preventing severe disease and death and the variant seems to be less lethal overall. The faster we run it out of hosts...the better. Locking down everyone until we can get Vax again seems like it's just going to drag it out till the next variant appears. We know Vax adoption will not be enough anyway.
