Not if he brings his own drinks, not allowed at squares.

Please accept the differences we all have and don’t be judgemental. We live in The Villages to enjoy life.

No difference, it still disturbing to others.

For over 15 years there have always been solo dancers—sometimes men, sometimes ladies. They’re entertaining themselves and don’t bother others. Chill.

We were only a big fan of the Squares the first year we were residents. That said, since we live just north of 44 now we rarely go to SS except for the car show. We never saw the person the OP mentioned. Too many times those that post throw the OP’S under the Bus like they have in this case. Where I come from, dancing by yourself is quite ok but yelling in a crowd is inappropriate. It is also inappropriate to just remark for the OP to find another place to go. He/she already knows they have that option. Fore…

FYI.there is a PO at the squares just about every night, especially when the "big names" are playing. I've been here three years and saw Mark from day one. If there were complaints something would have been done by now. Why is calling the police for something like this necessary anyway? I've seen a lot worse.

If someone brought their musical instrument and started playing during a Villages Square concert the musicians doing their paid gig would probably complain very loudly unless that person was very good with her music. And then she might get added to the band.

This man, Mark, is just enjoying the music at the Squares and is only bothering others if they make it annoy them.

Clearly this guy does bother others, and annoys the bands too. I can't figure out why no one has told him to shut the hell up when he does his annoying screams. Maybe he doesn't know how annoying he is.

Well he probably will hear about it now. Still-- live and let live. The Squares get loud but do not stay that way for long.

I disagree, he is doing nothing illegal, or immoral and giving someone permission to be rude enough to go tell a happy person( doing what everyone goes to the squares to do) not to be himself because she is bothered by it , is as rude as posting this complaint. So, would everyone that does not like how someone smells, dresses, talks, looks, nationality and on and on just walk up and tell whomever that they are annoyed and that you should stop being you to make her happy?
I could see a issue in you were indoors at a paid event complaining if someone is loud, but outdoors at a place that wants all to enjoy and dance, this permission you suggested is out of line.

Perhaps addressing one's dislike of his behavior with him directly rather than airing it out on TOTV is a better option.

If he is interrupting the entertainment I can see why someone would be annoyed. I guess we all have to put up with these distractions nowadays. It’s a free country. You just have to select another venue. Myself?? I am considering bringing a base drum and bugle to the square so I can join the entertainers.
His yells are his contribution to the music, in a sense. He follows the beat, and at (what seems to be) random lines of the song, he'll shout the beat "TWO! THREE! FOUR!"

That's it. That's the noise he makes that people are whining about. It's very loud, and yes it is sometimes distracting especially if you're sitting in front of where he's doing it. But it's not constant and he's not interrupting the music. He's accompanying it

That's another person who seems to be happy in their own skin and filled with the joy of the music. Don't be jealous - with the right application of makeup and a properly-fitted dress you too can look good on the dance floor.

Actually, I believe the person you are referring to is a pre-op transgender. Nice guy(gal), plays a good game of golf as well.
