Smile Computer Repairs

I have not made any recommendations on TOTV but am making an exception in this case. I have used "On Site Compurter Repairs" in The Villages and they are terrific. I actually called the manufacturer 3 times with the problem and in each case they were unable to help even at the "Level 3 Support Service Departments" I finally called On Site and they did some extensive diagnostics and identified the problem. The manufacturer continued to tell me it was a software problem and they did not warranty software. It ended up as a "hardware problem" and the product was shipped with defective wireless cards. The Manfacturer (Lenovo) agreed to replace the card in the one computer that was still on warranty but not the other which was off warranty and had the same shipment of a bad wireless card.
Not only did On Site do the work but their price was truly fair and honest.
They are a great support team and I hope they ultimately advertise on TOTV since they deserve all the business they can get.

Could you tell me where this operation is located in The Villages and possibly a phone number if you have it? Thanks!

I just picked up my laptop from MMD Computers in Lady Lake. I had more RAM installed, and a general cleanup of unused programs. It took 24 hours, and the cost was very competitive. I recommend them to anyone who needs computer repairs.

They have helped me several times and always have done a great job with fair pricing.

Cool Sorry for Delay

TREE: I am sorry for not responding sooner but missed your note and question. On Site Computer Service is located in Lady Lake and their phone number is (352) 638-1865. Sharon will answer the phone and it will probably be Jason who fixes your computer. I can't say enough good about them !!
The problem he attacked for me (Lenovo Laptops) could not be handled by Lenovo Tech Service (I made 3 calls and even level 3 could not handle) and it took Jason an hour to find the cause of the problem and it was pretty complicated.! Basically, I have 4 laptops and 2 would not stream. Lenovo claimed it was software and they don't warrant software. It ended up being a defect in the system. It is a long story but they made the download too slow (Uploard was fine) and to correct it the Power management had to be adjusted, the router download changed from "N" to "G" and a few more adjustments. The download went immediately from .5 to 13.0 and both now stream perfectly. If anyone is having a problem with streaming on a Lenovo product Jason can now fix it. Lenovo cannot.
