Yes. The government over reacted with these draconian laws. The local government passes out liquor licenses to every business, and every restaurant serves booze. Then the legal system sets up checkpoints to snare you. All to raise additional revenues, and to criminalize as many citizens as they can. you can't even walk home drunk, anymore, without risk getting arrested. DUIs are more vilified in this country than bank robbers. I mean, you can't even drink a beer while you're driving! Who gets drunk on one beer?

I have no idea, but I did see on some other threads that law enforcement cannot issue citations for speeding (>20 mph) on MMPs because they are private property. If so, the same would hold true for DUI. When you hit a public street, you're fair game.
If this is true, my SECOND BEST advice , if you are stupid enough to drive drunk, is stay on the MMPs driving in circles and endangering the rest of us until you are sober
Seriously, my BEST AND ONLY advice is DO NOT DRIVE WHILE INTOXICATED, EVER. If you can afford to buy enough drinks at a bar to get drunk, you can afford a taxi ride home. Get you cart the next day.

If a deputy sees you driving reckless on the MMP, he can stop you. This was a quote from Lt Neh.
Your advice should not be taken...........

My serious advice, not the tongue-in-cheek first part, should be taken by everyone
