Default More on Dogs

Because a homeowner objects or expresses concern about dogs on their lawn does not mean they do not like dogs. However, when folks are working hard to keep their lawns looking good, it is understandable that dogs doing their business on the lawn would not be welcomed. I notice in our neighborhood that dog walkers seem to permit their dogs to enter any lawn they want. I object to this, and would certainly ask the dog's owner not to let their dog use my lawn for their bathroom. It will leave spots once the grass starts to look like grass again. It's just being a good neighbor and considerate dog owner.

Buc, I know you are a strong advocate of fencing. Well, it is Villages Survey time! Fences would be a good topic for a write-in comment.

Every year I write in a comment about the need for more golf-accessible dog parks. Now we have the new Springdale Dog Park. I'm sure it didn't happen because I wrote a comment! However it gives me faith that comments are used constructively.

Do they walk in your putting line? Do they give you "gimmies"?

Fences would be an eye sore except in the villa areas where they are authorized.
