Stuff you post there is here to stay. I present to you Michael Alderman.

So does anyone know him?

If I ever need a private detective I'll know who to call. Great research.

I'm with you on your post. Life is too short to worry about people who you will never be able to change... Move on and Enjoy...

Default So that is Michael Alderman, the guy behind Hate The Villages.

A little grey at the temples. A beer can in his hand. Says his family was here first. There is a sugar cane farm listed as belonging to an Alderman off 301.

IF he is a server...Let us first believe that many have been impatient, condescending, rude and just plain mean and bossy. I feel for him. However, most of us have had our kids serve or been a server at some time in our life. That, unfortunately comes with the territory. But I have been at a few tables here where I cringed at the ordering around of the servers.

I find that most of the servers here in The Villages are the best I have ever run across. Showing no impatience for the separate checks we ask for routinely and the fill ups for tea and coffee. and the very small tips I suspect are given at times.

However. Michael Alderman who has gray at his temples will be among us in due time. Some cultures honor their seniors. I am so afraid that many in the younger generations haven't been taught to do so and many of the older generation don't behave as if they deserve it...but that all said,...

Shame on you Michael!

That's very true - once you hit that "enter" key, it's out there.

You can't be too careful.

Hi Tom,
Hate The Villages FL also commented on their Wall post.
Hate The Villages FL wrote: "but you have to keep in mind how rude and nasty some of the older folks are to the ones that take their orders serve their food sell them products etc.. we didnt ask for you to come in and be nasty we r here being paid by a company to help not take abuse"
It sounds like this person is bitching about what he has to do to earn a living. My point of view is that if you don't like your job, you need to find something else or quit. The company I worked at just laid off 25% of their staff. I guess their complaints wil now take a new tact.

Your a great guy Tom. I wouldn't let this peturb me any longer.

I'm over it. I just think it is funny how the younger generation thinks of us. They don't realise someday they might get there also. But TV will be already built out. Their loss.

I agree with 2B - don't let it get to you.

I think about my 97 yo mother, who is going through advancing Alzheimers and is just not her old self anymore. I have to remind myself and those of my "baby boomer" generation that WE are NEXT !

Heard a true story on this morning's news about a guy who wanted a few days off from work. He faked his mother's obituary, without telling her. His employer found out about it, and fired him. Now he has the time off..........

The same guy pictured, and I don't know how you'all know this is the guy, but the same guy is on My Space and the pictures there are worse and his choice of a t shirt tells a story in itself.

Maybe we should just leave well enough alone and close this thread.
