Or you could use an EMF meter at various frequencies to see what exposure you have at different parts of your property. Available from amazon.

Better to have power lines buried during hurricane season - can take hours, days, months to restore overhead. Just a thought.

Science has proven living under wires is dangerous.. If your car radio goes out under them and cell phone shuts down, they do affect humans and animals. Fact checked

They are talking about supply lines.

Some corrections and additions after viewing the homes from the outside
The rear of the houses face each other across two rows of power lines with the North houses raised 5 feet above ground level. There is a nice walking trail under the power lines whose entrance is quite nice close to the south (cheaper) row of houses. As pointed out, the Ruby (expensive one) on the north side may have laminate floors in the bedrooms although I could not confirm. While the north side homes are closer to the Water Lilly Rec Center, the south side houses are closer to the Everglade Rec Center. The area between the rear of the homes is expansive with the two power lines being quite high. It doesn’t look to me like this area would flood. I still believe the homes on the south side (cheaper) would be a better value with no homes to the rear. Take a look at the pictures taken today 5/11/20 North side houses (costing more) Dropbox - IMG_2641.JPG - Simplify your life Dropbox - IMG_2642.JPG - Simplify your life Dropbox - IMG_2643.JPG - Simplify your life Dropbox - IMG_2644.JPG - Simplify your life Dropbox - IMG_2668.JPG - Simplify your life https://www.dropbox.com/s/iwzovd9dr5..._2670.JPG?dl=0 Trail & power lines & south houses https://www.dropbox.com/s/xyj6xvd1s3..._2649.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/qroxt9b2lf..._2654.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/l4lwkn359x..._2655.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9umyf7qite..._2658.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/8updn9fy87..._2660.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/u367m32n39..._2663.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/pk5cdbvdn3..._2664.JPG?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fgb8vcq5d6..._2667.JPG?dl=0 |

Whenever I make a real estate purchase I always look at its future marketability. It doesn't matter what I may be willing to ignore, it's what a future potential buyer will. Regardless, high tension power lines are a big no no for me regardless the price discount. IOW, you couldn't pay me to live there.
