Us too, just bought our plane tickets. We drove down and back from Alberta the past 2 years, but the 4 day trip is a bit long, so we have decided to buy a vehicle locally and leave it when we go north.

Now we will have Florida plates so no one will suspect we are really Snowbirds lol

We enjoy meeting all of our neighbours, whether Frogs or Snowbirds and the overall, welcoming atmosphere of the Villages.

It is a pity that some consider us snowbirds a nuisence, but then again they likely consider just about anyone else to be a nuisence whether they are snowbirds or not.

My parents head south the last week of September....they get so excited to be heading to the sunshine state. They live in grandmas grove until April.

I don't want to be a snowbird...I want to be a frog....please Lord....send me a buyer so I can become a frog.....in the villages...pretty please....

The last 2 homes we sold (and they sold only after we did this), we buried a statue of St. Joseph; following is instructions -

How could they just keep leaving this beautiful place????.......... and someday their grandchildren will go away to college, as ours did.
