I just don't know how a commercial establishment can operate effectively with such a large seasonal fluctuation in population?

Default A little kidding is part of the snowbird experience.

Most of us frogs have been birds. Just as seniors have been freshman.

I doubt there are not a LOT of snowbirds who will ALWAYS be snowbirds.

How could they just keep leaving this beautiful place????.......... and someday their grandchildren will go away to college, as ours did.

Here is a wish that all snowbirds will become frogs and will take their rightful place here in lower paradise.

One sees more Gulfstreams and other private jets parked at Leesburg International Airport.

I have had rentals for several years and many different renters from all over the US, Europe and Canada. And guess what. 62% have ended up buying a home here. So if renters cause issues then I seriously doubt they have a sudden awakening once they buy. So it must be the residents that are the real problem with sand traps and greens.

At least that has been my experience when playing golf.
A snow Bird owner often will "fly in" three or more times a year. January thru April is what I call the real Snow Bird season. Most every "bird" is in town during these months.

BTW, I don't find so called Snow Birds, on the average, to be anymore rude than any other TV resident.

Jerks are jerks, whether they're frogs, snowbirds, snowflakes or renters. They don't change their stripes.

And we love it when you are here. Full time, part time, by the week or month we all should have the same rights and privileges. The only thing I try to be much more aware of in season is that the rotaries get much more traffic and therefore become more dangerous IMO. Therefore I try to stay away from them as much as possible.

Will be closing the "hillbilly retreat" pool in the next few days. This big snowbird will be headed to my "Villages retreat" in a few weeks. Got to get down there, and check out all the coyotes, bobcats, Florida Panthers, and fighting line dancers!
