It will improve south of 44, but the turnpike (even with the 2nd bridge) is a bag factor in access to golf.
Were all those golf courses there before the houses? I doubt it. I like golf too, but I liked the area south of 44 even more. THAT was more important to me and my wife as well as countless others who bought down here. If you live up north, why are you so concerned with what we have down here anyway?

When you live by the 3 closest Executive Courses to the Brownwood Bridge one has to be concerned.

Works both ways my friend. Lowlands is the busiest of the 5 we have. Want to guess why?

Two swings later barely out of the bunker (no raking) then smacked a worm burner across the green. I quit watching for a few seconds and looked back and she was playing another ball from in front of the green. All totaled she had three balls on the green and a twosome came up to the tee and just decided to skip that hole . I counted eleven strokes and I didn’t see the tee shots! The sunset was spectacular and so was the Bourbon
Tonight I drove past Escambia and at 654 pm (it was dark out- Sunset was 626 pm according to my weather app) there was a 2 some playing number 8. And no they were not playing night golf with the glow in the dark balls! I have no idea how they could see! But different strokes for different folks . . .

It happens to my wife and I often. We like to play spontaneous evening golf when the mood strikes us. Sometimes we get in a quick round and sometimes we get stuck behind slow pokes and wind up trying to finish the last couple holes at dusk. Perhaps we need to get some of those glow balls, or should we call them slow poke balls?

Because most of the "people down there" are complaining that they don't yet have what "the people up here" have...

Not really. 2 of the 3 courses are Level 4 and the other is Level 3. A ride down to Lowlands, a Level 2, is 22 minutes. Up here I can get to 20 Exec courses in under 20 minutes

Because it's the easiest to get to of all of the executive courses south of 44?

Most of the people? Did you take a poll? Nobody I know of is complaining. There were some gripes about the bridges taking so long but that issue is resolved.

That’s not the point. You alluded to the crowding at the 3 courses closest to Brownwood. The solution to your problem is to just golf up there and forget about the southern courses. But, the courses are available to every villager without regard for where they live.

I'm obviously talking about this thread and threads like in on ToTV... But you knew that, right?

I agree. We close on a house south of 44 next week. In reading various TOTV posts for the past year or so i notice that people north of 44 (or even non-villagers) are quick to point out what they perceive are negatives about living south of 44 yet i rarely see the reverse (people from ‘the south’ initiating complaints about the area north of 44 , (and yes there are some negatives). Everyone is living where they choose and their reasons are unique to them. Really, what is the objective of being negative about some other area?

I suggest you read more as there's plenty of complaints from "both sides"... Or, on second thought, don't. It's not worth the aggravation...

That is a good question.

In my case, I make negative comments about an area because I see a serious flaw in that area and I want to warn people to not buy a home there.
