So you see a serious flaw, to You, and warn people not to buy? Consumer alert, or think people are just not smart enough to research on their own, before they spend over $500,000.

Bonus about playing golf in TV is you can play near your home, or travel over an hour to play a different course. Up north we play at our club, which took us 45 minutes to drive by car. Same 27 holes every week for $$$ every month, plus the buy in. No matter where you live in TV, you can play golf without needing a buy in membership. We like Southern Oaks, just as well as most of the other championships.

I have known for many years, there is a turnpike, prison, a mine, sinkholes, bugs, snakes, and not a grocery within walking distance to a house. A golf course may be 20 minutes away, But I am ok with that. Percentage of unhappiness in TV seems to be very low, after buying.

I do applaud the public service announcement, but I don’t think that many are taking your advice. Plus buying a preowned is few and far between, and who has the time to wait years to buy a preowned.

Why would someone have to wait years to buy a pre-owned home?

My thoughts exactly. I did see one un-named executive course being planned but that's no where enough. We currently only have five executive courses south of 44 and they are almost impossible to get on. The best of them is a half mile of my house and I haven't been able to get on in the past six months.

Odd. Just since December, I've played both Foxes, Loblolly (twice) and I'm playing Longleaf tomorrow...

Which one is considered "the best"? I've heard that Lowlands is nice and it's on my "to do" list...

Are you trying to book foursomes? Are you using the online thevillages.net site? I often sign up as a single and join another group. It's a great way to meet people...

When are you making requestes?

Using Villages.Net and requesting in advance, I've gotten the Ttime requested at Longleaf every time. We are just a weekly golfers so we don't carry many points.

Yeah, many buyers have not taken my advice, but some of them probably wish they had.

I criticized one new village and now I see ten resales in that village. Another nearby village only has three.

Probably not years but sure you know premium homes in good locations often resell before listing.

Then 3 car garage are rare as a five legged goat.

Well, Thank God there's at least one omniscient person who knows more than the rest of us about what is best for the rest of us. What on earth would we do without your pontifications to save us from ourselves. P.I.P. much?

You sound like a particular group of politicians in this country whose true mantra is: "I know what is better for you than you know yourself."

Fortunately you will not have to find out.

Just print out my posts, tape them on your refrigerator, and you will be set for life.

Only if one desires to find negativity in everything.
