Has anyone ever heard of a person being cited in a parking lot that wasn't accident related? I don't know it it's a law or not but if it is, it isn't enforced.

I love TOTV and it is very informative and by now I know the people pretty well from their posts. There surely are many fantastic people living in the community which I hope to call home if we are as fortunate as everyone else. I was a trucking company dispatcher for 25 years and though I had heard of every road incident known to man which I always listened to with patience and kindness as my reaction could possibly help reduce a road rage incident that many professional drivers suffer from. I made a remarkable discovery during my baby sitting sessions. It had nothing to do with being in a hurry. It had everything to do with the amount of money they made divided by the time they spent driving, they drove for a commission on each load. Enter my bright idea, hourly pay. The stories stopped and they started to take forever to get to their destination but because the hourly rate was set properly it saved the company a few dollars and the driving nightmares ended for the most part and accident's reduced greatly. The people in the golf carts need to drive in the by the hour mentality instead of commission. Why do we need to be first in line, why do we have to win at everything, why is our Doctor the best, why is our Barber number one, why is our Chinese Restaurant the best, why do we live our lives like an Olympic Event? I'm guilty sometimes to but I'm aware of all of this and more so I now have no excuse. Stay safe, all these accidents are terrible considering all these fine people have made it to retirement age in the shape their in and now drive like fools. Chill Out. Hope to see you all soon. P.S. when I came to investigate last March on one of my call's home to the Boss I reported how friendly, clean and beautiful the entire operation is but told my wife about a stunt driver in a white golf cart who looked like her mom. Traveling full out hammer down and it looked like the thought hit this person out of nowhere to make a right turn which she did on two wheels. Never broke a sweat just kept on trucking...must have been on commission.

If you are really amazed that there aren't more golf cart accidents then maybe it's not as bad as you think.

We got one! The MMP and diamond lanes. Got passed yesterday by golfer going 30 plus in gas cart, I count tell the engine was about maxed out with no governor control. No it wasn't LSV!

Doesn't take much to back off on a nut a few turns.

Hmmm. I really don't think it's THAT bad; but any place the size of TV is going to have their share of dufus drivers - both vehicle and carts. The main culprits are the commercial drivers.

What in the world would be a legal justification for a crazy law like that? I can't wait to hear this one.

Diagonal parking, if you pull through you will be exiting in the wrong direction unless your in smart car. One straight parking it's easier to see pulling out when you pull through and let's face it or necks don't turn like owl when we get in our senior years. I would rather see some pull through to space and not be able to look back when trying to back out?
