One poster said that a cart flew by him/her at 30mph. I would like to know how the poster determined this cart passed him/her at 30mph? I would be curious to know at what speed the poster was traveling when this cart passed him/her? Do we have a tortoise and the hare scenario?

One of my favorites are to be behind the drivers traveling on a 30mph road here and believe that they are being twice as good because they are going 15mph ... Happen to me again this morning

As everyone must go through PB 101, beginning practice, PB 102 and more before allowed in open play, it might be good to require golf car drivers to attend the VHA golf car safety seminar. Today, I was able to attend and felt that I picked up some useful tips to keep everyone safe. It was stated that some insurance companies offer a discount for attendance.
As a side note, local law enforcement says that they can’t place tickets on cars for bad parking as they are only allowed to ticket people in person.

Wish the City of Pittsburgh parking police had that rule when I was younger.

We might be the only jurisdiction in the country where this is the law. Which county responded in this fashion?

They can certainly ticket an auto or cart illegally parked in a Handicapped spot.

They say it's a Florida thing.

I don't know how much a governor on a gas cart can be set to but I've been passed by some carts while I was going 20 on the MMP's, and it was if I was sitting still. I never heard them come up on me till they went by. They weren't street legal either.

While driving a car at 30 MPH on Pinellas Place, I've been passed on the right by golf carts.

The point is that we should all be more courteous to each other, rather than selfishly expecting the world to revolve around only us.

EXACTLY..but, you know, their time IS way more important than everyone else's, right? SMH.

I really think it (mostly) comes down to, as my husband would say, "mine over matter..if it ain't mine, it don't matter." Yes, he's my resident redneck and, yes, he knows that's not how the saying goes; however, he has a point which is well-represented in TV.
