Another "Comprehension" problem? It was indicated in the note that she "reached in and moved some of the cherries from one bag to another!" This is clearly a problem as, unless her hands had just been washed just seconds before that, there were serious questions as to the opportunity for a Virus to be passed on to the bag being reduced by her touching the contents and someone then purchasing that bag!! Whether the cherries were by the pound or bag had absolutely nothing to do with the comment and observation! It is important not to assume something in order to express a contentious point and just ignore the subject matter!

Face it. No argument needed it was gross. He should not have done that. Would you go to a buffet ( I know not now) walk up and take the ladle and sample soup? No and if you did. You need serious help.

I am amazed how many read a comment in TOTV and truly don't understand either the subject or point. Some hide the lack of understanding by trying to make humor out of the note or some just answer a point that was not made with negative comments that don't actually relate to the subject. This sort of clarifies why some responses just don't add up?

SERIOUSLY NOW. This is getting silly. When you buy ANY PRODUCE at ANY supermarket you must assume that 99% of the time it will have been picked up and put down by others both with and without any kind of diseases If you expect otherwise you are in a living in a fantasy land. That's why we have faucets that dispense water or even "produce wash" if you want more than water to clean your dirty produce. Yea, it's gross sniffing whatever but still it grows in DIRT and is handled by probably dozens of people before it gets to your local store. IF YOU BUY IT CLEAN IT! IT'S DIRTY! They don't wash it for you. Why do you think there are so many recalls of fresh produce ?

Almost as bad as putting your parsley in a shopping cart that a service dog was sitting in. Gotta love those $35.00 certified service dogs.

These supermarket threads are always good for a laugh.
First of all, you don't get the virus from eating it. It must be inhaled. I always wash my groceries, pandemic or not. Second of all, all the mask wearers who shame non mask wearers in supermarkets etc are fighting a losing battle. Unless it's made a law with $1000 fines. Third of all, one could shame anybody who goes to supermarkets, mask or no mask, because of the fact that you can do curbside pickup for free, or delivery to your door. Those who go to supermarkets are taking a bigger risk. It may not be a large risk, but it is definitely bigger than doing curbside or delivery. Risk is higher with strangers indoors. |
