This has old and new house floor plans .. probably most of them ... maybe not every single one.
Note that each house can have extended lanais, extended rooms.
That's a great site. They have 60 different sizes.

For some reason The Villages changed the "ranch category" to "cottage category" the last year or so and did entirely away from building the neighborhood villas (colony and Cabot Cove).

They know what they are doing---about 200 new house a month! Amazing!

As we get older we will be grateful that the homes are similar so when we visit our neighbors we will know where the bathrooms are.

I just thought that it was interesting that there are several names for basically the same home.
We found the same thing when we originally started looking. Like you, we were surprised that such similar models were presented as entirely different when, in fact, the differences might more logically be considered options. Oh, but when we started looking there were no options. We fell in love with the Gardenia - than found the Begonia - and the Sunflower - and even the premium Williamsburg. Even within narrow bands - cement block designers - we (like you) found many nearly identical homes (Lantana-Iris, Bridgeport-Holly, etc.). I assume this has proven to be a successful sales tactic making each of us feel that "our home" is at least a bit unique. Having said that, what impressed us much more was how lovely the entire place looked!

I started out wanting to purchase a Bridgeport model house. Then I discovered that the Boxwood and Holly are very similar designs to it but without the half bath. The kitchen layout of all three is almost identical and that was our area of interest. As a Holly not on a golf course and without the frills seemed to more easily fit my budget, that’s want we decided to live in as our first house in TV.

Is there a site with a table that will show the different iterations of the model names?

When I look at the models site, I apparently have to know what the front of the house looks like.
