Can anyone in The Villages tell me where I can get some face masks or know anyone who makes them? We ordered some almost 2 months ago and still haven’t gotten them. We are desperate. Every web site I have seen says they’re back ordered. We will pay for the masks and all mailing costs. We will be most grateful if you can help us and many thanks.

I wonder if people simply dont know where to get them. Please contact me at janet1769@gmail.com if you need them. I have made hundreds for very happy customers. Mine are comfortable, colorful and machine washable. They are a nominal cost of $3.00 each.
STAY WELL!

why does one need to "wear a mask" to check their mail boxes? It is not like there are hundreds of people there. It is in the open and not an enclosed room.

Yes and I do the same to protect you- the person I don’t know.

My husband and I are immune compromised- so we have always been careful and wear masks now. But when we ride together I. Golf cart never being near anyone else - no we don’t wear masks. Same in car. It’s just us always.

When we go outside we stay a MINIMUM of 6ft from others.
We wash our hands and use sanitizer often. Including the bottles.
We still sterilize all things coming into our house. Including mail.
We have UV units inside our house for things that can’t be washed.
BTW. Your phones need it too.
And don’t forget the dryer for material things to sterilize.

Everything has a purpose and nothing is 100%. But everything is an aide so why not do the best you can!?! ... Including social distancing.

I will continue to wear a mask indoors in public spaces and will do my best to maintain proper social distancing.

Default Masks

See many masks and disposable gloves plastic bottles, cig buttslittered in our streets and yards. Littering is a man made problem that we can control !
Stop littering people!

Or maybe because it just makes them feel better that they think rightly or wrongly they are doing something good? Maybe you should give those same choices to the families of 125000 who have died. Why does everything have to be turned around into a negative?

They had plenty for sale at Sam's Club on Thursday. I also bought some at Walgreens last week. They are also available on Amazon for one or two day delivery. A box of 50 masks costs about 20 dollars.

Are you sure you are a retired Doctor and not the man who stayed at a Holiday Inn last night?

You are mistaken. "New York did use both facilities to treat COVID-19 patients — the Comfort treated around 182 patients, and the Javits Center treated around 1,100 patients" (NY Post). Turns out, due to the shut down, a mask order, and a requirement that every hospital increase bed capacity by 50% - they were not completely overwhelmed at their local hospitals.

It makes you wonder why thousands had to die because of an order to send nursing home patients back into infected nursing homes.

Nursing home patients were viewed differently......maybe they need to hold up a sign or start a movement....

Followers of one source of information are doomed to repeat it over and over. Most who listen want only to see what is right for them. The ones who have died didn't make that choice either doing the Spanish Flu or now with COVID.
