Just spent an hour and a half restating a bottle brush tree, the post split at the base, had a spare piece of aluminum, used that and 4 diagonal rope stakes to hold it up. Neighbor had one go over and it actually split the tree trunk.

Thanks Golfgirl122 for starting this thread. A little nerve wracking being so far away and listening to national reports and watching radar that made it seem way worse then it was inland. Appreciate the updates from all and what seems like minimal impact in TV.

Thanks, as you can see, it's still a bit gusty every now and then, but the serious stuff is over. I've been in your shoes and have been out of town and wondering/worrying about what's going on here in TV and the national news - well, it's too national.
