Here’s a thought: perhaps you and neighbors welcome him upon arrival (keeping distance, of course) and tell him that since he’s quarantined for 14 days, you’d be happy to run shopping errands, etc., for him. It would be a kind gesture and would put him on alert wrt the quarantine.

Its a nice gesture you posted:
.... But,
The OP that started this thread is family with the coming obstacle, he's turning him in here in public so I'm sure he's not happy with him and probably will not go shopping for him....

Just because he is coming from New Jersey doesn’t mean he has covid. New York and New Jersey are big places. Some counties in both states don’t even have anyone cases. I hope he doesn’t get it here in the Villages!

Op said relative, if he is an in-law he’s got to over 90.

Should the sheriff be notified?

Didn't The Gov say that all furriners need to self-quarantine for 14 days after they cross the FL border? If not he's breaking the law and should have a large NJ sewn on each cheek and on his face too.

I don't know, my brothers-in-law are about my age. How about yours?

If it's a relative of his wife (it is), that makes it his in-law. Brother, cousin, anything.

100 plus planes day coming into Orlando, ( google flight tracker tells where planes doing from and going) who knows where they’re headed. If even 1 on the plane has the virus they high change of infecting people on plane, people in the airport, and where ever they go. Basically starting virus spread all over. Yes I would wear mask better yet only go out if you absolutely have to. I don’t see end to this in the near future?

In law could son, brother, father. Given chats age could be up to 90. However my brother in-laws and sister-in-law are between 48 and 51, ya don’t have to be 55 to live here.

Why would I want put myself at risk cause he wants to work on his house to get it ready to rent? Not priority IMO right now.

How do you know? Besides if you are self quarentining, it shouldn't impact you.

I hope all of you snowbirds remember this conversation in May when you want to go north. Florida will be the hot spot and New Jersey/ New York will be on the back side of the curve and they will want you to quarantine yourself for 14 days or stay in FL.
