When we first visited The Villages in Oct 2015, we took a bus tour through the Pine Hills area. I recall the new adult pool had already been built and the spokesperson on the bus said the policy was, "Once you pay, you can start to play." We went back home to Virginia and started getting our house ready to sell. |

Based on my observations, you are absolutely correct.

DeSoto has a Neighborhood adult pool as does McClure both at their mail station just like any other village. Marsh bend does not.

Bonus the mail station is at family pool, and the mailboxes are not square, but rectangular, maybe 4” high, and large enough for magazines and mail to fit flat. No more trying to wrench out the over stuffed mailbox. Dog park looks ready to go, with a nice shade patio. Roads still have lots of sand, and building is ongoing 7 days a week. The roads that homes have sold are being cleaned up, if developer holds true to closing in 30 days, residents, first move in the spec homes should be in a week or two. So far only a few of custom build lots have a foundation, so looks like those closing should start first of the year. This is our fourth house, in TV, and lived through the massive wall of dirt filtering in the air. Most of the custom lots should be completed by the time we close, so dirt should be at a minimum, unlike at our past homes.

By the folks on TOTV that live south of 44. That is all I read by those who live down south. All those hiking and walking trails that do not co-mingle with vehicles is a huge draw to all those younger folks who purchase down south. I believe what they say. I have no reason to doubt them.

As you might recall, when the trail was first built it had flimsy white posts to discourage the golf carts, but they did not work. The golf carts still used the trails and we complained. I guess other people complained as well because they built impassable barricades to keep the golf carts off the trail, and the trail is now much nicer. |

We’re not in competition here. Compare wherever you live in T.V. And I will bet most people love where they are.

(Just like those who bought north of 44 justify where they bought...)

In fact, earlier today, I watched a video from Goldwingnut who does drone videos, of the area that will be our dedicated pedestrian walking path that starts/ends at the Lake Miona Rec Center. I was gobsmacked to see how absolutely gorgeous it is going to be. Most of the path will be shaded by those huge Live Oak trees. And.......the path itself is being constructed with a "springy" type of material that is easy on the joints. Yay!!!! About 6 months ago, hubby and I walked along one of the dedicated pedestrian walking paths south of 44 and it was totally in the sun. There was no shade at all but it wasn't the trail that goes around Hogeye. I believe it was a trail that ran along side one of the main streets (I think it may have been Megison Road).
