I think you are correct.

When we first visited The Villages in Oct 2015, we took a bus tour through the Pine Hills area. I recall the new adult pool had already been built and the spokesperson on the bus said the policy was, "Once you pay, you can start to play."

We went back home to Virginia and started getting our house ready to sell.

3 of the 4 types of pools:

https://www.districtgov.org/departme.../PoolTypes.pdf

The 4th. would be Priority Pools.

Based on my observations, you are absolutely correct.

DeSoto has a Neighborhood adult pool as does McClure both at their mail station just like any other village. Marsh bend does not.

Just like Osceola Hills at Soaring Eagle is a local neighborhood inside of Osceola Hills Village, which has both adult and family pools.

So is there any Village north of 44 that has no adult pool?
Unfortunately, Soaring Eagle has no pools... We have to go to Burnsed Rec Center or the other pools on the East side of Morse...

The horror!

We go to our lot every Saturday, to see progress of Richmond. Yes homes are sold in Richmond, last count of pending was about 28, but nobody has closed yet. Both pools are completed, filled, and need to be cleaned, no furniture yet, all the courts are ready to go.

Bonus the mail station is at family pool, and the mailboxes are not square, but rectangular, maybe 4” high, and large enough for magazines and mail to fit flat. No more trying to wrench out the over stuffed mailbox.

Dog park looks ready to go, with a nice shade patio. Roads still have lots of sand, and building is ongoing 7 days a week. The roads that homes have sold are being cleaned up, if developer holds true to closing in 30 days, residents, first move in the spec homes should be in a week or two. So far only a few of custom build lots have a foundation, so looks like those closing should start first of the year.

This is our fourth house, in TV, and lived through the massive wall of dirt filtering in the air. Most of the custom lots should be completed by the time we close, so dirt should be at a minimum, unlike at our past homes.

The walking/biking trails you have are wonderful and we use them very often. Yesterday we went for a 2.5 mile walk around Hogeye and it was beautiful.

As you might recall, when the trail was first built it had flimsy white posts to discourage the golf carts, but they did not work. The golf carts still used the trails and we complained. I guess other people complained as well because they built impassable barricades to keep the golf carts off the trail, and the trail is now much nicer.

That's what's so great about the good ole USA!!!
Great post!
We’re not in competition here.
Compare wherever you live in T.V. And I will bet most people love where they are.

You mean those justifying where they bought?

(Just like those who bought north of 44 justify where they bought...)

Actually, I live in Mallory Square which is two RABs away from Lake Sumter Landing. We really don't have walking paths that are dedicated to pedestrians like there are south of 44. We do have one that is under construction right now, however.

In fact, earlier today, I watched a video from Goldwingnut who does drone videos, of the area that will be our dedicated pedestrian walking path that starts/ends at the Lake Miona Rec Center. I was gobsmacked to see how absolutely gorgeous it is going to be. Most of the path will be shaded by those huge Live Oak trees. And.......the path itself is being constructed with a "springy" type of material that is easy on the joints. Yay!!!!

About 6 months ago, hubby and I walked along one of the dedicated pedestrian walking paths south of 44 and it was totally in the sun. There was no shade at all but it wasn't the trail that goes around Hogeye. I believe it was a trail that ran along side one of the main streets (I think it may have been Megison Road).

I'm close to Miona. I'm looking forward to seeing that trail. When is it expected to be open?

I hope the villages is moving away from country club dining and instead trying to create unique dining experiences in standalone restaurants.
The parking is easier than the restaurants in the squares , the views on the patios are nice , familiar faces at happy hours, are a few reasons we like CC dining
