Maybe some people will buy there knowing these facts if all their going to use are the stores restaurants on 466, the Country Club Restaurants, the Squares. etc. Much is open to the public. They would probably install their own pools like those of us in Villages with no Community Pool.
There are no restrictions on who can live in Oxford Oaks.

Its a shame that this information is not represented in the listings......and some people who dont know any better will buy in those neighborhoods not knowing the real information.....
I would find that hard to believe..... but once upon a time there was a man who did buy a home in Chatham without knowing there were active train tracks real close.

Awwww yes. I remember it well.

I too find it hard to believe that anyone would buy anywhere that they were not completely familiar with.

Yes, I remember that situation well. The Purchaser eventually moved out of The Villages.
Buying a home is a huge investment and it pays to do due diligence.
I remember thinking at the time --
the Purchaser bought a home with a pool, with the intention of spending a lot of time outdoors.
Turns out, it was noisy when a train went by.
I think a prudent Purchaser, buying a home that backed on open space, would look at a map to see if there were any garbage dumps or commercial buildings or dog parks or railway tracks or hydro fields behind the open space.
