First Amazon is not perfect, I recently ordered two of the same type of item, one was delivered on one day and the other 3 days later. One time I had a driver deliver the wrong package and when I approached them before they drove away, they realized that my package was delivered to the wrong home, and I had theirs. As a previous poster claims that Amazon will do little to reprimand a driver if he did do something wrong, the poster is correct. I use Amazon all the time and I found when there is something wrong with an item, they find it more convenient and less expensive to give me a refund and tell me to keep the product. I'm sure Amazon has concluded as long as it falls within a certain price range it's the cost of doing business.

However, if the same thing happens again, even though it is NOT your fault it is likely they will refund you and close your account no matter what proof you have. There are hundreds of examples of this happening on various forums (especially Reddit). Reddit - Amazon Prime

Even if only HALF of what is posted there is the truth you'll be concerned on what is happening with Amazon recently. Their "bots" are going nuts.
A friend here in The Villages bought a $1,000 mirrored card table from India on Wayfair. One corner was damaged in shipping or delivery. When she to complained to Wayfair, they had another one delivered. Same problem. She complained again. A third one was delivered. Same problem. So Wayfair gave her THREE $1,000 tables for free, and she did what Way,ark recommended and donated them to a company that would fix them and sell them cheap to people in need. You know, people in need of a $1,000 mirrored card table. Each table, boxed, weighed about 150 lbs.

And the crime rate is quite low.

Does a mirrored card table help players see each other's cards?

I can only hope you never have a problem with them. Like Xfinity they are great UNTIL you have a problem. Not going to post my story but hopefully you don't need their help for a missing package (over $300) or getting a credit when double billed for keeping something they told you to dispose of. Doing a CC chargeback gets your account closed.

Read some of the Reddit stories and like I said if only 1/2 of them are true they are getting very bad.
We use Amazon all the time, and only had two problems.
They were dealt with speedily and promptly.
No complaints about them here.
I never use Reddit, X. or any of those sites.
BS and propaganda most of the time, and of no interest to me.

They stopped this punishment, so politicians could keep their hand-out.

Amazon delivers 1.6 million packages a day and employs over a million people so theft is evidently going to happen.

Reddit is a place where people go to whine about something that didn't go perfectly in their lives.

It's not a good gauge of the big picture and all the folks who get their packages without incident.

Hopefully, Wayfair didn't give her anything. The shipping or delivery company should have paid for the damaged tables.

I think that this punishment would be appropriate even in this country. Too many criminals get away without suitable punishment which encourages them to be repeat offenders.
If you want to do away with most crimes, then dish out a punishment that the criminals can't live with.
