as I said in my original post was that there still were the couple of year old boxes sitting in the 'ethnic' aisle, hope you didn't buy any from that clearance bin!

they have good statistics on religion but not (according to another thread) on how many full time and part time residents there are? and this is not even a villages source? nobody ever asked me my religion or ethnicity in the villages or the state of florida so I am at the least 1 unrecorded statistic just as there are probably thousands of others here that are 'unrecorded'.

Nitehawj--I grew up in that area and what a beautiful spot with resorts
enterainment, etc. but with the closing of grossingers and other resorts due to Atlantic city it lost all tourist and vacationers. But the main thing is they ran out of Matzoh balls.

Forgive my lack of knowledge about other religions (I am Jewish), but are these an Easter delicacy?

The Colony Plaza Publix I am told have broken all records of sales and are the busiest of all Publix stores and take in a million dollars a week. (I have been told this by people who I know well and who were not drinking) The growth in that area is absolutely phenomenal. The Villages of St.James, Tamarind Grove, Bonifay, Charlotte and Fernandina weren't there last Easter or Passover. I bet they will be stocked nicely next holiday season.

That is my opinion.
Good points. Expressing disappointment is one thing. Suggesting Publix "kiss my posterior" seems over the top. It's not like Publix has some kind of 'War on Judaism'.

Needless hostility rarely wins friends and influences people...not withstanding that some posters in Political appear to think otherwise.

Do you really think all of the Jewish people who used to go the Grossingers,Tamarack Lodge, The Granite, Kutchers, all went to AC - I doubt that - IMO the lack of a tax base - when every other piece of property is a camp or religious structure and tax exempt and the ones left that are not tax exempt are the people that are working for the hotels etc with little in pay - leaving nobody to pay the taxes
Result is a getto of abandoned buildings - no jobs - no nothing- This is my personal opinion - but you could probably buy Passover food Seder

really? what if they stopped selling bread...as that is the true equivalent. Would you really continue shopping there instead of somewhere else if they stopped selling all bread, rolls, etc??

a real answer instead of your cocky bull.
