I thought it was the genXers that wanted it all and wanted it now! this thread [and a few others] sure showed me I was wrong!

also makes me wonder why so many folks have bought new homes in areas which are reportedly so lacking in opportunities for shopping and services...and then grouse over why same are not available so that they hafta contend with crowds - the crowds are their neighbors for pete's sake. smh

Oh, I wish I was an Village Snowbird
that is what I'd truly like to be,
'cause if I were an Village Snowbird
everyone would be in love with me.

Yes ?
No ?

Up here the saying is public aid checks have arrived so don't go to Walmart then.

Ya know, if a person gives a little bit of thought about it, there is about 90,000 residents living in the bubble, and 1,000's more around the edges, and we all need to get food! So, when do we all shop, mid-week?, weekends?, moving in day? Anytime with soooo many of us will contribute to chaos in the parking lot, ankle bites in the aisles, and stare downs at the deli department. When is a good time? That is what everyone else is wondering, so it just keeps going full circle.
Gotta go, need some milk at Publix. Hope most of the residents are in church.....

Just wondering.

If a visitor from the north is a pretty snowbird.

What is a year-rounder ? a sandcrow

When I was there in January in TV I never heard yankee.

But outside of the TV I did many times. Mostly from family.
