Default Returning shopping carts to proper location

To the lady in the dark blue Hundai who winged her shopping cart across across the road instead of walking it four cars down to the carts storage location, I know you watched it pass my vehicle and hit the side of the little red car before you slowly walked away. FYI, my husband retrieved your cart and checked the little red car and somehow it escaped damage but then I guess that doesn't matter to you. You watched the whole thing with detached interest and we watched you ...

Please people take your carts back. Even if they seem okay, the wind can pick up and off they go. It only takes a minute.

Fortunately, there are less a-holes per capita in TV or am I wrong?

As Judge Millian said, "I don't get it, or am I the only person to bring carts back to where they belong"? I know I do.

The non-caring people baffles me, also. How lazy, can one get?

Good luck with that. Wallyworld shoppers are some of the obnoxious AhS on earth.

Perhaps vandalism (although it doesn't appear that any real damage was done??). It doesn't appear anyone was actually threatened.

I'm not a lawyer, but I remember from somewhere that if an individual is simply afraid of injury from another's action, it meets the definition of assault(not battery). I could be wrong, and there may be a requirement of intent, not simply being an idiot. Reckless endangerment???

There must be intent. I doubt that was the case here.

It's amazing to me that people can just abandon their carts to blow around the parking lot.
So many people just leave their carts in the parking lot when the cart storage areas are steps away.
I always try to walk an abandoned cart back to the store at Publix or Walmart.

I didn't get the plate number because I was shocked and focused on possible damage of the other car. The lady was concerned about her hair being blown in the wind and holding her head covering with one hand as she winged the cart across the road towards other cars.

I was shocked because here in The Villages people are the most courteous and generally respectful of persons and property anywhere and we often comment that it reminds us of the communities we grew up in long ago. I wouldn't like to lose that atmosphere although it will never be 100% of course.

Plate number.........what for?
Our LEO's have more in important things to do than chase somebody for not putting a shopping cart in the cart corral. Some of us are going off the deep end.
