While on the subject of carts gone wild in parking lots, I never ever park near the cart corral. Your vehicle stands a better chance of getting dinged near the corral than one abandoned in the lot. People will take aim at the corral and give their cart a hearty push hoping to score a perfect 10. All to many times the carts misses the corral by a mile and right into a car parked nearby.

Who do you people think you are. She has every right to push her cart anywhere she wants. Into cars into glass window. Into people. Of course you also can quickly push your cart into her car. Laugh as she screams, telling her, sorry I didn't really care that it hit you car. Then walk away. That might change her a little bit.

not an individual that the cart hit...so yeah...you're wrong. As to endangerment...are you skating on the wrong side of the ice?

If there is a cart corral - USE IT! - if there isn't a cart corral, take the cart back in the store. Don't act like you've been raised by wolves.

Romulus and Remus - isn't that an Italian grocery chain? No carts, just reusable bags.

Please people take your carts back. Even if they seem okay, the wind can pick up and off they go. It only takes a minute.
This and many more reasons are why I keep my shopping to Aldi ( great idea for shopping carts) and Amazon or Google Express ( both delivered right to my doorstep!)

Funny how some will leave the cart anywhere and not walk it back and enjoy some exercise.

I leave my cart in front of my car. That way, the person that parks near my space will have a cart to help return items they may want to take back. I call it cart recycling. Just another way to help save the world.

Aldi's feature of '25cents carts' is novel - insert a quarter into slot and the chain connecting to all carts is released-quarter stays in slot locked in cart handle. Do your shopping, return the cart to corral at the store, attach the chain from last cart into yours and your quarter is released...into your pocket.
Bottom line the user is charged the quarter for use and returned when the cart is back. A small incentive but works. No carts around the lot, and no need for employees to spend time hunting down loose carts. Also Aldi's price scanner/clerks never seems to fail.

That sounds thoughtful and friendly enough, but what happens when the wind gets hold of that cart and rams it into another vehicle.

I agree! It's not that hard to do our part to keep the world neat and clean. To me, it's a respect thing.
