After all, they pay amenities 12 months of the year and can only use them 6 months of the year
Amen!

We are homeowners like you. And also seasonal residents, (aka snowbirds).

Wasn't trying to start a fight. I am a year rounder is what I was trying to say. I was a snowbird. Year rounders sometimes appear smug because they are very fortunate to live here all of the time.

I said home towner not home owner.

Default Rudeness

There is a higher percentage of people within the baby boom generation that will be unable to maintain two domiciles. Within the next 10 years the snowbird population will have died off and a greater percentage of Villagers will be full time residents. The seasonal log jam eventually will spill over and become a year round problem for awhile. SR 44 commercial development will increase and hopefully absorb the increased full time population. At that point the War between the States part II should coincide with the 160th anniversary of the Appomattax battle. I saw this in a dream last night so it must be true.

Does anyone see the irony that a thread about rudeness has deteriorated into TOTVers getting rude with each other?

Different kind of rudeness-My wife and I were seated @ a bar in a country club, we finished eating and ordered another round of drinks. We also asked for our final bill. An individual came up and asked when we're leaving, I said when were finished--so don't hover over our seats.--He got ugly after that--looks like we have to stay away during happy hour, what we drink is never on the happy hour menu.

All people are different. Show kindness, smile and maybe others will do the same. It works!

I'll nominate that as the rudest story on the thread so far. I can't imagine anyone pulling that in NYC, unless he had a death wish. After all, you never know who is "carrying".

It's the political climate. I'm tired of being called a looser. I guess it's true. I can't even spell anymore.
