Didn’t have kids here, old just assume...Yes and he will admit the oldest is very well mannered, but the 2 year old was a little bratty. But then again they have no children only fur babies. I guess old people here think everyone gets to have children.

I already tried the Daily Sun and there isn't much listed on there for rooms to rent.

The post grad posted on the board in oncology, plus yes she posted on TOTV, UF and VA gave her the TOTVs website. She found the community with good and but more negative than other places.

Our oldest and his wife both Doctors (mid thirties) came 5 years ago, to feel out the community to see if this would be where they would work, and live next, and retire when it came time. Didn’t mention they were doctors.

Took 3 days of TV some residents telling them they did not belong here, bringing their uncontrolled brats, and you can’t live here because of their age.. Yes there were some positive but not enough to move here. They also went to 2 other retirement communities, both community residents were receptive, and offering help as to what section had a home they would need. ( handicap accessible) They Chose NC.

TV was really the better fit for them, but not worth trouble. We have here since 07, sometimes this is not the most friendliest.
You are still assuming that he/she is a med student or resident and why does the individual not state what his/her profession really is. Why not state where he/she will be working or studying, Wildwood is a very large community and can be as long as a 30 minute drive to Spanish Springs from the far southern points of the community.

There is an ad in there today. Where do you work or go to school, what do you mean by "medical professional" why are you not looking in Leesburg or Summerfield?

Since you are not offering a room, why do you care why the OP is here. If possible I try to offer constructive advice, as with any OP who is looking for help. Rarely do you find a medical person on a public forum say what their specialty is. With good reasons.

While I am definitely not a fan, have you looked at how many AB&Bs there are in TV. Plus the many who rent by the day. Rentals are driven by profit, and need.

I am sure where ever the OP finds a space, the owner will do a background check, and check for employment. Retirement does not make you loose common sense.

Could be he is trying to keep a fellow villager out of trouble. As we both know there are busybodies around here looking to report people for not following the rules here.

Good luck, OP. Ignore the folks who hate people under 50 on this board (there are many). There is not one single thing wrong with a homeowner taking a roommate. It's done all the time all over TV. Don't let the crotchety ones with no life have any bearing on yours.

No, but age and loneliness does and that is a situation that at times is preyed upon, there are a lot of predators out there.

Do not give out your personal information. Let common sense and your safety come first. Whoever this is should inquire about a room to rent from the school or place of employment. Also check landlord - tenant laws. I don’t know about Florida but in some states after a certain amount of time you can’t tell people to get out without going to court.

I found a modular home for sale for $27,500 in Fruitland Park.

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/L...zpid/?mmlb=g,0

And here is one for $29K also in Fruitland Park. I know you weren't looking to buy but it might be an inexpensive option.

No I don't sell real estate. We bought our first home when we were 21 years old. Just trying to think outside the box.

I wonder if that includes the land????
