If you are putting your items on the belt before the person in front of you has completed their purchases, you are way less than 6 feet apart. I don’t blame her. You were standing way too close

Interesting...how were you wearing your mask that she thought was inappropriate. Since masks are required and they should be covering your nose and mouth. Maybe she was trying to help protect you as well as others. Also I think there are signs at Aldis to only have one persons things on the conveybelt at a time...some people follow their items along as they move on the belt and if the person in front has not finished then you end up standing right behind them. Not really sure why anyone to begin with, feels the need to even post about the incident...life’s short...just follow the rules for safety and move on. Hope everyone has a safe and good day!

I’m sorry for the woman who experienced the ā€œRUDEā€ woman at ALDI.
Especially when you’re following ALL the rules!!
EVERYONE, myself included, needs to be patient and KIND in dealing with this UNNECESSARY social distancing NONSENSE!!!!🧐🧐🧐

Sounds like she has a real problem. I would have looked at her like she was crazy (which she probably is) then pretended as though she weren't there. People like that don't deserved my attention

You should have put your stuff back in your basket and then touched all of her stuff that was still on the belt.[/QUOTE]

I always wonder why good people come to such different conclusions. It is obvious to me you are kind and fair, Sheldon.

I have tried to keep up with VALID information about the communicability of this virus that until this siege has not been encountered by anyone on this earth. I have tried to read only information from trusted sources and not political hacks or religion based sources. (Yes I am religious) Everything I have read from sources I can trust say that older people who get the disease are a much more at risk than the general population. In fact all figures show that 80% of all deaths are from the elderly.

I am not a fan of big government. I think when we get the government involved in almost anything we see things mishandled and money strewn about and wasted and sometimes see good intentions swallowed up by foolishness and poor handling and abuse of power. However this is a rare and unusual occurrence and I hope to God it is temporary. I am not frightened of the "rules" that most states have laid down to keep us safe during this unusual time.

i've noticed masks hamper the communication process. i cant really hear people with them on. (esp. low-speaking males) they will pull it down so they can talk to me, but i don't mind 'cause we're still doing the 6 foot separation thing.

I don't think social distancing is nonsense. It keeps us safe in the days of COVID-19.

The mask comment perhaps she was right. The rest of it would have had some comments for her.

The cashier told me in no uncertain terms that I should not have put my stuff on the belt. ā€œOne person at a time ā€œ. Didn’t know, no signs. I was way back. Learned my lesson.

1. She shouldn’t have done what she did. She’s not the boss.
2. This situation brings out the good and bad in people.
3. She’s scared. She’s uptight normally.
4. She’s got cabin fever.
5. She shouldn’t be out shopping. Online would be better for her.
6. Her ā€˜conversation’ to you could’ve/should’ve been nicer.
7. I feel a little sorry for her..a little.....
8. I definitely would’ve said something to her..not rudely, but something to let her know that she was not the boss.
9. Don’t let one bad apple spoil your enjoyment of shopping.

The stress of the situation we are facing has gotten to many people. Try not to take it personally. I’m sure that you felt embarrassed but those who witnessed her actions likely thought that she was being rude (a jerk). Don’t let it wreck your day.
